    Panasonic TC-P50X5 Plasma TV Dead

The TV is strange. The Power Supply and the SS board are one board. The cable from the
P.S. to the main board is one of those metal wire type. No markings
on the board for pin assignments. Power Supply. NOAE6J00006. Are any schematics available? Connector pin assignments? Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

Do I Jumper JP67 STBY 5V to JP64 Main_On? I have the STBY 5v (4.98) and I Had 165 VDC across the main filter cap. The SMD part numbers are not legable even with a bright
magnifier. No Blink Code. What is the Blink Code for this set?

I have the exact same board as you but mine keeps blowing out new parts! My TV is a TX-50X50B but the metal connects are exactly the same as yours. I believe the connector pins to the AV board are the same.

I'm unable to locate a service manual for yours but I have attached one for TX-50X50B which you could use as a reference. The connectors could be found on page S8, which has the schematics for the pins on the AV board joining to the PSS board.

I know it's not your model, but I hope this is better than nothing...

Well, I finally got back to this TV. I jumpered the STBY 5vdc to PS_On
with a 470 ohm resistor (4vdc) and the power suppy turned on giving me all the correct voltages. With that I am sure that the TNPH1001 main board is not giving the PS_On command. I did not see the voltage on the PS coming back from the Main board. I will replacethe main board

I have the same TV and have no standby voltage. I do have 135v at the filter cap, but when the power button is pushed nothing happens, there is no clicking sound when plugged in or the power button is pushed. I can't seem to find a service manual for it so I hope someone can help

                Wow!

About 9 months ago this Panasonic TC-P5x05 was thrown out by a neighbor and sat outside for trash pickup until the old lady next door snatched it and dragged it into her apartment.

A month later it was setting back outside for trash pickup, so I dragged it in and set it on my desk. Plugged it in. no signs of life - no idiot lights, no sound, nothing. I had looked online and found some known issue with power supply components, so it sat for 9 months.

Today I invest 3 hours time looking for the info again, join this site, doing research, then I decide to plug it in and it powers up and runs like nothing was ever wrong!

WOW - So this television is FEMALE

I have a feeling it's the standby IC that's dud on this series. Did you find the other threads on the part number and suggested replacement to fix?

Hello, got a ST50 plasma TV for repair. No signs of life, not even blink codes. Opened it up to check the power supply, type MPF6914. Apparent issues from visual detection and measuring for shorts:
                      Diode type G972s6 - D101 with a short
                      Mosfet 06N90E - Q301 shorted
                      Fuse T5AH 250V - F103 blown
                      Diode D301 shorted
                      Relay DG1U-17VDC II - RL001 blown

I have not found a circuit diagram. Maybe someone here already dealt with a similar issue? Thanks for tips where else to check 😀...

                      Panasonic plasma TX-P42ST50 - 6 blinks
                      by jm1234
                      Hi,
anyone able to provide the service manual for old plasma Panasonic TX-P42ST50E?
It turns off almost immediately (0~5 seconds after pressing the on/off button) and starts flashing the red diode 6 times.
I disconnected the left-hand side board (SC?, both the ribbon cable and the power cable to it) and also another ribbon going to bottom left board. Then the led signal is 8 flashes. According to service guide to another Panasonic plasma it would mean the left-hand side board is faulty. But I'm not sure it 100% applies to my model.
I checked that board for any obvious faults...

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
                      by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
                      by Alicat
                      Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                      Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...
