Sony Bravia Model # KDL-46EX710
After I turn on the TV - it goes on standby mode and RED blinking 7 times pause and repeat 7 times again.

Temperature error.
You should start a new thread with make and model on the header.

This problem is the HLR board its a small board with the remote eye and a few LEDS on it
Dont ask me how its this board but it is
turn the tv and unplug the board
it will play for DAYS!!
now WHAT IS GOING WRONG OM THIS BOARD??

Where are all the great minds here??
We need to figure this out
Very few people even realize the issue and they are buying exspensive boards that DONT FIX IT

I think you are right !! My set was shutting down and giving me the 7 blink diagnostic code.....
I unpluggged the IR sensor board and it has been playing for 1.5 days so far......I will update if t does not work.
