    Vizio E371VA No picture

I have a Vizio E371VA with no picture. The backlight is on and I believe is OK. I have checked all the voltages to the inverter board and they are OK. I check the voltage at the large cap on the power supply and that is OK too. I did the cable wiggle test on the TCON board and it produces visible noise on the screen.

I believe it is the main board. I'd like to fix it. I have seen someone replace the regulators on a Vizio main board for a different model but my main board is different.

Does anyone know where the regulators are on the 715G3715-M02-000-004K main board? I'd like to test them to see if that is the cause.

First thing lets rule anything else out, In my opinion I cannot see it being the mainboard.

Pictures of boards and one of T-con. Check fuse on tcon

      Thanks for the reply.

Here are pics of the main board, PSU, and inverter. I need to desolder the shield off the T-con board. My soldering iron decided to not work just now.

I will post that one when I get the shield off the board.

Here is a pic of the T-con board. Thanks.

FB4401 right below the connector, middle left. is OK. I found 6 fuses on the back of the board that are all OK too.

Look near the input connecter on the T-con.. should see a component with brass/gold ends.. prefix for the component will be F, So something like F21/13a or similar... Set multimeter to Ohms and probe to each end (set turned off). What reading do you get?

I get .1 Ohms. This is the FB4401 fuse. See the pic. This that the fuse you are talking about?

              Indeed, So fuse is good.

Power on the set and check Volts DC at the fuse, lets make sure you have power to the tcon

There is 12.04V on both ends of the fuse.

I see four 3-pin devices, they are more likely to be voltage regulator ICs. Please read the link below on how to report the readings in the format that we can read.

                      by gavric
Hello, i am working on Vizio M70-C3. It can hardly power on, it takes 15 power button presses or remote. Seems like eeprom problem that I seen before but all reading online says that this tv has power board or main board problem.

When tv powers on vizio V logo shows nice on whole screen. picture 1
When it goes into tv mode it only shows good picture on left side of screen, right is all scrabbled up. pic 2
When i start youtube picture shows on left side fine, right is all scrambled. pic 2
When i click video to start playing picture goes black(like when you change...

                      Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                      by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board

                      Pin 01 NC
                      Pin 02 NC
                      Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
                      Pin 04 "N/C"
                      Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
                      Pin 06 "GND": N/C
                      Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
                      by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                      Assuming...
