Samsung LED starts up black screen then reboots itself veritical blue lines

Picked this up from a friend that said while watching it the screen would flicker and go to a green or black screen .To correct this issue temporarily he would give it a knock on the back panel in the area of the board where the hdmi ports plug. I will test the fuse on the T-Con board as I have ready that this may be the cause. I have made sure all of the ribbon connections were properly secured. Any help greatly appreciated!


Screen that appears after continuous restarting itself is shown below. The screen will take around 10 seconds to appear from the time I hear the click of it powering on. The screen will be black before it appears.

That looks a lot like a main board fault (the one with the HDMIs)

The one that I have repaired, it was just rebooting in a loop and a "new" mainboard fixed it.
It has a screeching sound also?

Installed a main board i picked up off ebay and the unit starts up and seems to run my xbox and satellite perfect on hdmi 1. However when running my pc to hdmi2 i see a slight green flicker across the screen on the bottom. I am fairly certain this problem only happens when using hdmi port #2. Is this indication of a faulty main board?

test your xbox on HDMI 2, also switch cables to rule them out

Also wiggle the hdmi cord in the hdmi 2 socket and see if it plays up. If so either bad cable, bad hdmi socket or bad solder connections on hdmi 2 input.

I always install the latest firmwares.
