Vizio M420NV

My TV is super bright white you can see the picture beneath even the menus are like this as well i have read quite a bit on here before i decided to post and have seen this same question throughout the site they all say T-CON Board
here is a photo of the same T-CON board i have where can i test on this board to be absolutely positive its my T-CON board or can an experienced guy or gal chime in and say don't waste your time buy a new board.

Do you see an AS15 labeled IC on your T-con board?
It is probably the small square chip to the right of the main "AUO" chip.

also the screen kinda flashes very lightly like a strobe light never goes black or anything. This might be because im right on top of it and its very bright

I believe i have found my answer this is what they advertised at shop jimmy for the repair of T-CON Board

Symptoms we can fix:
- Bright washed out screen, menus are also effected. Video is usually visible but hard to make out,
will sometimes appear to be a negative
- Solarized image

Thank you Tom66 for your help i will roll the dice and try this if this is or isn't it i will update everyone it was actually a post you had on a TV with similar problems i seen that this resolved the issue on that particular TV

New T-Con board did not fix my problem screen is still bright white and distorted forgot to mention earlier start from left side of screen picture is a lil darker for 6" from left a lil darker but still white the rest of the screen is a lil brighter white i can post pics of the screen later

What do you see when you have just one ribbon cable connected one at a time?

Can you do me a favor please... look on T-con.. all way to the left there is a component marked Q201... just above 2 brown ceramic components... Could you read the number off the top of it? (its for another member)

i did not see that the tcon board is at inlaws house I will snag it if this picture doesnt clear that up.

there is a panel for this tv on ebay for 160 dollars im willing to do that i will wait till after i have done what budm suggested and see what he has to say about results

Basically ruled out T-con issues, Possibly main board but most likely panel I think.

Budm has more experience and knowledge than me so yeah wait for his input

I know it's an old post, but I have found the same TV, with the same problem and I would like to know what is the fix for this issue?
Should I buy it, or stay away?

I'd stay away in my opinion it has a bad panel.
