I do not have a schematic for the *432 power board, I expect Samsung have not released it.

Thank you tom, i will buy that and this one i have to unsolder the capacitor then test it, am i right? alright, i will try to check the 5V line while i wait for this ESR meter and i'll update my work to get some help .

I have that tester and it works fine. Yes you will have to take the cap out. there isn't a reliable way to test most caps in circuit as there are other components attached.

I am waiting for my ESR meter to do the capacitor test, however I recheck the board by looking carefully and I found a 223j 1000v capacitor look different for my eye. is it normal or it might be the problem guy for my tv? can anyone check my images and tell me if this capacitor look normal or not.

Just check its value with cap meter to see if read the correct value.

any idea what could I check on the board? also there are few caps that I didn't test with ESR meter. I have attached the picture. do I need to check the capacitor on the image?

That's a class Y capacitor, it wouldn't cause any problems.

Sometimes, the time invested in fixing a board can exceed reasonable replacement costs. Perhaps start browsing eBay, shopjimmy, etc. for a replacement PSU.

My general rule is:

>2200uF: ESR < 0.05 ohm
>1000uF: ESR < 0.06 ohm
>100uF: ESR < 0.2 ohm
>22uF: ESR < 3 ohm

Note, there is some leeway in these values. Most failed capacitors measure in the multi-ohm range; a capacitor measuring 0.06 ohm but 2200uF may well be fine.

I got the new Power supply board and installed into the tv. now the backlight on, however when I connect the mainboard to power supply and try to turn on, it's not turning on? is there anyone has any ideas, what should I try?

I have a 55" version in the shop. The 5vdc A side was steady. The B side 5vdc cycles on/ off. The set will not turn on. Got a new P.S it did the same. It was sent back. Jumping the
A side 5vdc that was fine to the P.S.-On and the B side 5vdc still turned on/off. Can't find any schematics for the P.S.
