Had a lightning strike very close to my house that took out a few electronic devices including this LG 32" LCD TV. Trying to fix it, so popped the case off. A few of the other components that got hit had obvious charred area's, but this one has got me. Everything inside looks perfectly normal.
It's model LG 32LK330. I am getting a flashing red light when trying to turn it on, and no screen. It was attached to a small DirecTV box that allows me to access my main DVR. The HDMI on this DirecTV unit stopped working, but the box itself is working via other cables.
So I know there was some issues with the HDMI, but not sure if what fried the TV was via the HDMI or the power supply.
It's a similar issue to this guy: LG TV red light flashing
What he did was replace the power supply board, and that didn't work, so he replaced the main board and that fixed it.
Any thoughts? Here are some pictures, I know some of you are so good you can spot a blown capacitor, but to my untrained eye everything looks good.
