    Was that with power connected?

No, no power was connected just using my meter for diode test.

Sometimes it can be hard to test in circuit and get a reliable result. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the diode is OK. The standby supply wouldn't work if it were shorted.

OK, thank you very much for the help Tom. I'll try to find a replacement board and post the results.

I just got my replacement main board in today and put it in and tried to power the TV on and got nothing. I've got the same thing as before the unit refuses to turn on. I wasn't able to find the exact model main board for my TV the one I have is a FM17S and the replacement board is a FM24S.

I had to replace my power supply. I just bought one on eBay.
