Re: Dell U3011T no power
Here is a picture of the power supply.
The power input is on the bottom left as well as the bridge rectifier I measured.
There are 24V terminals on the left and 24V & 5V terminals on the far right of the board. I'm not getting any voltage there....

Dell U3011T no power
I have a Dell U3011T with no power on any of the 24V or 5V terminals on the power supply board.
I have checked the bridge rectifier and it is getting 119VAC and converting it to 159VDC just fine and I'm not really sure where to go from there.
I have checked some of the caps in circuit and they appear to be OK. I have also looked at 4 of the voltage regulators in circuit with my diode check on my meter and they all read around .5V which should be good.
Any help on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-60LE633U won't turn on, no lights
I just got my replacement main board in today and put it in and tried to power the TV on and got nothing. I've got the same thing as before the unit refuses to turn on. I wasn't able to find the exact model main board for my TV the one I have is a FM17S and the replacement board is a FM24S.

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-60LE633U won't turn on, no lights
tom, the diode you had me measure earlier that had 5.06V on it; while I was checking it with my meter diode function it was acting wired and appeared to be the only one doing this; but this diode would buzz then on my meter display the voltage would creep up until it got over 2 volts and then would read OL. Do you think this could be causing a problem or more likely the main board?

Sharp Aquos LC-60LE633U won't turn on, no lights
Hi,
I've got a Sharp Aquos LC-60LE633U LCD TV that all of the sudden will not turn on anymore. The TV shows no lights or anything when it's plugged in and the power button won't do anything.
I've taken it apart and checked the fuses and the power cord and looked for any bad caps or burn marks but nothing. I have attached a picture of the power supply board.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated....

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello everyone,
I found this site while trying to repair a friends LCD monitor and it was really helpful finding the source cause of the problem.
I am now looking to start repairing TV's as I have minimal skills working with them.
Thanks for all the help!
