    Toshiba 37xv555db HDMI problem

Hi all I have just replaced the screen on a 37xv555db and also have a problem getting the sky box working on any HDMI input.
Just purchased the tv so don't know the history.
The DTV tuner works perfectly and so do the scart inputs.
When selecting the hDMi input and having the sky box connected it just shows a blue screen. I have changed the plug to all three HDMI inputs but all three show a blue screen.
Is there anything within the menu that I need to select or change so that I can get the sky box working?
I have a spare main board and have changed it over and I still get the same blue screen.
    Any ideas appreciated!!

Check your skybox is set to output 1080i/720p.

It's currently working on my samsung 720p so will the output on the sky box need to be changed to 1080 to work on the toshiba?

        It may be picky...

If not, then it is probably a HDCP authentication problem. Someone has used the encryption keys for the Toshiba to copy some content (any Toshiba made in that year will likely use the same codes.) So Sky have seen it fit to block all users of that code.

The only way to avoid this is to use a HDCP stripper like HDFury.

Where do I get hdfury from and how is it used?

          Thanks

            ... it's not particularly cheap.

              problem with replacing lcd screen
              by mmccomputer
I have an HP model : 14-cf0011nf and I want to change its display screen (it has an original 14" full HD TN 30 pins panel) which works without problem but I want to put another screen with an IPS panel, the problem is that I tried several screens but there is no display except with the original screen, I never had this problem before I changed hundreds without problems but this PC is not 'accepted than its original screen
otherwise on the motherboard it displays edp and I don't know, do the panels I tried only work with the LVDS protocol?

              LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
              by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

              Then each time...

              Toshiba 50UL2063DB randomly rebooting with HDMI-CEC and/or HDMI-ARC enabled
              by spleenharvester
I have this TV hooked up to only an AppleTV 4K and a Creative soundbar. Originally HDMI-CEC and HDMI-ARC wouldn't work at all, I replaced all the HDMI cables with decent UGREEN cables meeting the latest standards, now it all works perfectly but once or twice a day the TV itself reboots while watching a program, the AppleTV keeps running. I haven't fully pinned down whether it is ARC or CEC causing it yet. All are running latest firmware.

I assume it is just HDMI-CEC being buggy as usual on a shitty Vestel machine, but can anyone think of anything I can try before disabling it?

Sony KD-55XG9505 lines on screen problem
              by Chrissygizmo
              Hello again everyone,

This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…

I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried...
