Bush DLED32947DVDHD dead!!!
Hi all any help if you can please. My tv dvd combo has died on me. I have check voltage in with my DVM to PSU and confirm 240v. I have no red power indicator light on the front and the set is unresponsive.
Does anyone know what voltages I should be getting out of what pins on the 28pin plug to main board? Or what else I should be checking for please?
The PSU is a Vestel 17PW25-4
Many thanks

Toshiba 37xv555db HDMI problem
Hi all I have just replaced the screen on a 37xv555db and also have a problem getting the sky box working on any HDMI input.
Just purchased the tv so don't know the history.
The DTV tuner works perfectly and so do the scart inputs.
When selecting the hDMi input and having the sky box connected it just shows a blue screen. I have changed the plug to all three HDMI inputs but all three show a blue screen.
Is there anything within the menu that I need to select or change so that I can get the sky box working?
I have a spare main board and have changed it over and...

Re: Replacing IC on inverter board
The capacitors leaked and it has blown a leg on the IC chip
So I was going to buy the repair kit off eBay and try to replace. I have already replaced the caps but then I noticed this damage on the IC

Replacing IC on inverter board
Hi all, can any one tell me how easy it is to replace IC on inverter board on a toshiba 37xv555d. Is there any special kit needed or will a normal soldering iron do? And if I buy the inverter repair IC kit will the chips already be programmed?
Thanks

Re: toshiba 37xv555d inverter board problem
it looks like the caps had leaked over the board so the previous owner had taken them off the board for some reason?
is there anything in particular i should look for on the board before replacing the capacitors?
