Re: LG 42PT350R clicking on/off
Hi guys,
Currently facing same problem with my LG. Does the VA and VS should always show the voltage? When I connect anything (like Z-SUS, Y-SUS, main board) the VS and VA drops off under 1 volt. I have checked ALL capacitors and all of them are fine. the fuses are good. What that could be?
Thanks in advance and sorry for opening the thread all over again.Comment

by TrisHClHi,
First post...
I have this TV, which was working, then suddenly would not turn on. It would get the clicking relay then flash up the screen for less than a second, off for a second then on again. Removing the plug the relay continues to click on and off for a few cycles, which I don't think it did before.
Left it a few months, then finally got round to taking the back off, and it worked as it should. So I tested various bits and all was well. Then turned it on again, and back to the clicking relay.
I disconnected the main board from the power... -
by EazyBoneDid some of the usual troubleshooting.
Unplug main board connector and back lights come on and stay on and PSU supplies all correct voltages on the legend.
When you just plug in the TV the PSU relay clicks on and off immediately and then continues to click on and off every 20 seconds or so. The red light on the front flashes once and then 5 to 8 seconds later flashes once again and continues the cycle with the relay.
I've disconnected each you ribbon cable one at a time and every single T-Con cable one at a time to see if there's any change. No change as long... -
by slimmy182Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).
I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

by WoodsworthHi,
I hope this is the correct place to post about this device. I originally posted regarding this on iFixit so see the details from that post below:
"I'm hoping someone can give their opinion on the symptoms I'm seeing before I spend any more time and put money into this. I got this MacBook from a customer and after looking at it they decided they didn't want it.
It doesn't turn on and there's no visual signs of life. I have tried resetting the NVRAM, SMC, power cycling, unplugging the battery, using the charger with the battery unplugged. Removed the... - Loading...
