    Rca D52W136D Help

This tv will not come on when you plug it up you hear something like a squeal it will do it about 3 times kinda like a relay would do when they click on an off a few times so i started replacing alot of things still didnt help as there is alot on this board iv done most caps few resistors and the transformer

i have the same power supply on my desk that i took out of another tv just like this one but some of the parts have diff numbers like the transistor in the tv says (ViPer20 30V332) think its a volt reg and on the other board the transistor/volt reg says (Viper20 CC04c v3 MAR 432) can i put it in the tv anyways? the boards are the same i couldn't put the board in the tv cuz of big burnt spot couldn't be fixed so it will work for parts

That VIPER20 is SMPS IC (switching power supply IC).

It may have bad start up cap for the VCC pin.

As long as all the connectors are the same, and the PSU part numbers are the same, go ahead!

Those chips you mentioned ... they are the same - the VIPer20, an smps control chip

Could you get some pics of the carnage? Possibly of the PSU part numbers too, if you arent sure.

EVGA 500 watt with fan twitch
        by everell
This is an EVGA 500 watt Model 100-W1-0500. On power up only has a small fan twitch. Usually this is just a bad capacitor on one of the output lines. Not this time. I pulled out my storage scope and looked at the output lines during the first 10 msec after power up. 12 volt line was 11.5 volts. 5 volt line was 4.5 volts. But....the 3.3 volt line was also 4.5 volts. Couldn't find a short between the 5 volt line and the 3.3 volt line. So pulled out my multimeter and tried to find a bad component using resistance measurements. Nothing. So I took a guess that the mag-amp transistor might be bad. It...

external hd Seagate, broken down the +12 volt and USB 3.0 SATA board
        by gabri2211
        Hi to all 😎
I'm looking for any useful information to repair this interface (I have attached the image).
On this board I read E3215-1215A_4D.
This is the small plate inside the HD enclosure that allows to connect a 12 volt power supply, interface the disk with a USB 3.0 socket and is connected to the HD with the SATA connector.

If any of you have found a burnt or short-circuited component in a circuit like mine, if you have useful diagrams for the repair, or even better a description for the tests at the test points, I would be very grateful.
        in particular...

Behringer Eurolive B205D repair - help identifying transistor
        by magneh
        Hello
Got this speaker from a friend , defective. Power led comes on and off , in a loop.
Disassembled, got the board out, and after a bit of measuring I found a low resistance on a 5v6 line. With a bit of current I found a transistor heating up on that line (labeled T1 and 113 as on pic).
After removing this guy, I got a value of 0.7 in diode mode on that 5v6 line, which before had 0.02 or something like that.

I tested powering it up without the IC, and the speaker turns on and stays on, and works fine

Still, I need to replace this transistor....

hi people, i need some help to identify a transistor(q14) that is missing on the board, so the gpu has no voltage i think that q14 activate the phases for gpu, but i dont have schematic or boardview, but i think its the same transistor than q15 and q16, thanks...

Help with blowing transistor NAD T752 receiver
        by rddube
        Hello everyone,

I guess I need help from the masters to try and find what is frying a 2SC5669 transistor on the left channel of this front center Amp for a NAD T752.

Was working perfectly and all of a sudden I heard a pop, and then a glow from the amp. Not only did the 2SC5669 burn a leg, but R520 which is a 220 ohm resistor partially burned - it now measures 110 ohms.

I bought this amp second hand fairly cheap as it was not working, it went into protection mode. I finally traced it down to the same transistor Q510, the one that just popped. It was shorted...
