PLEASE HELP, Burnt off pad on Y-Main, how do I fix it

I accidently used to much heat and burnt a pad on the board I don't know how to go about fixing it I heard that you have to scrape away the coating on the trace and if the capacitor legs reach you can solder it, but I scraped at the trace and no copper appears, only beside the trace some copper appears when I scrape, maybe that's not a trace im not sure. I included and circled in the picture the problem, a capacitor supposed to go there. please help

It's a double sided board so from what i see there's no connection on that side. It'll be on the topside, how does that look? you may have to cut the leads a little longer so you can mount the cap high enough to get your tip in to solder.

Be careful not to stress the top joint now as it'll be much easier to break it free without the cap anchored by the solder pad that's missing.

So are you saying I can just solder the caps negative and positive legs on the top side of the board instead of the back side?

The bottom pad that's gone won't matter, the other pad on the bottom wil have to be soldered, but I can't tell now what was on the Top, almost looks like pads are ripped from there as well and brutally.

I was hoping it was just the bottom pad that lifted but I'm not sure what to suggest at the moment.

If you can get a clearer higher res shot of the top maybe someone can work it out unless you know yourself what was there. Better put the board number up as well just in case someone has one and can have a look for you?

I just had another look at the bottom, the + must be soldered on the topside pad, - on both sides. Maybe hold off and see if anyone else offers up some opinions to either confirm or dispute.

On the top the pads are ok, it just looks that way cause I had to use a small screwdriver to feed in the hole cause the leg of the old cap broke off in there and I could not get it out with solder wick or a sucker, so the hole enlarged a bit, but there is still plenty of copper there.

My suggestion would be --> On the top side scrape away a little bit on the + side. It should look like cooper. If it does, cut your + lead so you can solder it to the board in a L (with a 1/4" gap between the board and the cap & about the same or less on the board). Solder the pos to the top and the - to the bottom. Or carefully solder the + to the lil black resistor in front of it.
But I'm not a pro, it's just what I'd try
