    Samsung LN46A750R1FXZA T-con horizontal lines

I have a 46 inch Samsung LN46A750R1FXZA that had a power supply problem. It would come on for a few seconds, then turn off and not be able to stay on. I found 2 visibly bad capacitors on power supply board. I replaced them along with all other caps on the power supply board just to be safe. It played fine for about a day, now it is having distortion in the picture.
It has 4 horizontal lines going across screen with some additional distortion. When I jiggle the ribbon cable to T-con board it clears it up and plays fine for the rest of the time its on. I have been unplugging it for a few hours and when I plug it back in and turn it on, the distortion is back and if I give it a light tap on the back (with back covering on) right where the T-con board is, it clears up and plays fine.
I am thinking it is a bad connection on the T-con board. Thinking about getting a new T-con.
    Any thoughts?

I assume you're having the same trouble as the original poster. You may have oxidation on the contacts of the connector. Unplug the T-con cable and use a folded piece of paper to clean any oxidation from the inside the female part of the connection. You might have to fold it a couple times to make it stiff enough to work. Don't fold it so many times that it won't fit in the connector. Use the edge to get the pins on the male part of the connector too. Please post back with your results.

Samsung QN70Q6DTA Ghost or horizontal lines after tape fix horizontal line
        by Ihandyrepair
        Hi guys

I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
then it started to show the ghosting white image.
I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.
it has 3 thin small boards at the bottom of the...

        Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
        by Rubenlily
        Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

        Samsung UN46C8000XFXZA Horizontal lines
        by x_orange90_x
I just acquired this 3D LED yesterday and it has horizontal lines on a little more than half of the screen. When I first turn it on it has thin black lines going across that makes the image look serrated, and then shortly after patterns of thicker red lines fade in. If I turn it off and right back on it will reset to just the black lines and the red will again fade onto the screen.

I initially thought tab bonds, but flexing the bezel makes no difference, and the fact the image sort of resets after cycling power is different. I haven't opened it up yet to actually test applying...

Samsung UE49MU6105K - boot loop, horizontal lines
        by blaster_
Less than a year out of warranty, samsung UE49MU6105K craps out, they've got this designed obsolescence down to an exact science of self destruct when out of warranty...

Screen started to show horizontal lines and ghosted image at the bottom, then turned off by itself. Did software update, to no avail of the line problem, and got a boot loop after some minutes of watching TV. This boot loop will turn on the backlights for some seconds the sound comes on, the image will turn dark very fast and then it reboots again. Pressing power button will not put it on standby. Disconnecting...
