Re: Samsung PN60F5500AF no picture. Resistors smoking
Thanks for the reply. I searched quite a bit and can't find a thread showing a different way of checking a buffer. This is the way I have always done. I have replaced the Y main and then again thinking I had a bad y main. Both times, I had the same result: smoking resistors. Not sure what to think other than a bad panel.

Samsung PN60F5500AF no picture. Resistors smoking
I have a Samsung PN60F5500AF Plasma that has no picture. It has sound.
When it first came in, I put a meter on the buffer boards and had continuity from where it connects to the y main board and where it connects to the ribbon cables. I ordered new buffer boards and when I first unpacked them, I had the same reading. I contacted the seller and he assured me they were working. I thought I was testing them wrong. I installed the new boards and had the same result.
Next I ordered a new set of buffers from a different seller and tested them the same way and had continuity again. I figured...

Re: Sony LC-60SQ15U looking for LED backlight part #s
Sorry, Sharp. I have a few things going on in the shop right now and looked at a sony as I was typing. The number on the panel is R1JE601D3GW00Z. I don't have pics of the strips because I don't want to take this thing apart without knowing if I can get the part.Last edited by aasnowskate; 05-26-2016, 10:08 AM.

Sony LC-60SQ15U looking for LED backlight part #s
I am looking for part numbers for the backlights on a sony LC-60SQ15U.
I have a one long blink, one short blink code coming from the light. I have tried the reset system procedure and it did not help.
I have narrowed it down to a bad LED strip. I can not find the led strips for this set by searching by model # anywhere and am trying to look by the part #. I want to know if I can find them anywhere before completely taking TV apart because it is a very difficult process to take it all apart without damaging the display. I have learned from experience.
I did not post pics of...

Zenith Plasma Z42PJ240 has sound but No picture
I have a Zenith Plasma M# Z42PJ240 that has sound, but no picture. I replaced the Y SUS board and still has the same problem.
On the logic board, the D101 is not lit up at all.
I did the test on the logic board that involves putting a resistor on the EX AUTO GEN and it did not change anything.
Does anyone know if not having a blinking D101 is evidence that the logic board is not working?
Thanks for any help. I will get some pics uploaded.

Samsung UN46D6003SFXZA no pic or sound just led light blinking
I have restarted a new thread on this TV because I added to another thread, but the model # was one digit off.
I have a UN46D6003SFXZA that is non responsive. The LED light in front blinks, but the tv does not turn on or anything.
The blink is a 2 flash 5 times blink. I hope that makes sense. It blinks twice five times, then goes solid for about 2 seconds and then starts the blink sequence over.
I added pics of the power supply and main board. I checked fuse on power supply and am not sure where to go from here. I also tried the mute, 1, 8, 2, power with the remote, and nothing....

Re: Samsung UN46D6000SFXZA 2 Flashes
I tried removing the cable from PS to Main board, and this does nothing. I also tried to do the mute, 1,8,2 and it was non responsive. Any other ideas?

I have the same TV with the same blink problem. Did you ever get anywhere with this?
