Hello, im hoping to find somebody who has solved audio problems on this lcd tv,audio comes on for awhile ,then goes out after 10 mins very distorted sounding when on, any help would be appreciated!

If you hook up the powered speakers to the Auido line level output RCA RED/WHITE jacks, do you get the distorted sound there also? We need to find out if the problem is in the sound processing/ preamp/ or power amp section.Never stop learning

Would you say it's very similar to what comes out of the speakers? It sounds like either power supply bad (low voltage to audio processor, possibly main board voltage regulator fault) or bad audio processor IC.Please do not PM me with questions! The bad cap could easily cause that. Have you checked the supply voltages coming from the PSU? e.g. a low or unstable 5V or 12V might cause this.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
