Re: what name is the company of this regulator
You've probably already worked it out but I'm thinking one is a 1.8V reg, the other adjustable. , I'm sure there'll be a number of manufacturers of it.
No ideas for those markings
EDIT: Diodes Incorporated, exact match below AP1084Attached FilesLast edited by tw2005; 03-28-2013, 06:08 PM. -
Re: what name is the company of this regulator
Diodes Inc. , probably AP1084-18 for the one on the left:
See the last pages, logo is very similar if not identical.
Anyway, it's a "jellybean" regulator, any low drop voltage regulator with 1084 in it will do ... the one on the left is 1.8v fixed ( hence the -18 in name) , the other is the adjustable version ( -ADJ or nothing, no hyphen something)Comment

From what I can see, yours looks like TO-263 package but you'll have to check thatComment

Re: what name is the company of this regulator
What voltage reading are you getting between the ADJ pin and the Output pin on the Adjustable regulator, it should be 1.25V.
The output voltage should be = to the reading of Adj pin and ground + 1.25v = output.Never stop learning

by artvandalaiThis Concept 2 rower pm5 monitor doesn't shut down. It keeps turning on and stays on after being turned off. I read on another forum by another user that replaced the same component to check the voltage regulator.
The monitor should pull around 35mA when turned on and in shutdown it should drops to around 0.060mA. Any advice on finding the voltage regulator on this board to check if it needs to be replaced?

by SatdudeHello, I have a Xbox 360E Stingray where the 3.3VSTB regulator shorted and put 5V on the rail. I think the RAM and eMMC are on this rail. After replacing the regulátor, I get proper 3.3V but the console won't even turn on. Seems the eMMC is dead, I get power to it just fine but JRunner doesn't even detect the console when I hook up my PicoFlasher. Does a dead eMMC/NAND cause the console to not even turn on? Also does this with the eMMC removed, planning to downgrade it to 16MB NAND but want to know if it's a useless effort to save this motherboard. Thanks08-28-2024, 03:55 PM
