uP0109: 2A Ultra Low Dropout Linear Regulator equivalent substitute

    Hello everyone,
I want to find a replacement for uP0109 8pins, and i found this parts:

uP0109 is "2A Ultra Low Dropout Linear Regulator"
    RT9199 is "Cost-Effective, 2A Peak Sink/Source Bus Termination Regulator"
FP6137C is "2A BUS TERMINATION REGULATOR"

    can replace uP0109 by RT9199 or FP6137C ?

I replaced the uP0109 with FP6137C and it worked just fine for future references (I'm not sure how long it will work though)

uP0109 appears to be manufactured by https://www.upi-semi.com

This motherboard has a DDR VTT Power section that identifies the IC as "NCT3103S co-lay NCT3102S/UP0109":

        https://doc.inmys.ru/open?hash=deb89...35d757d575367b

Thanks for your compatibility info. However, note that there is possibly a difference in pins 5, 7, 8.

Thank you truclacicr for this information, and you are correct the uP0109 is supposed to provide termination voltage for DDR memory system, but in my case the uP0109 is generating the +3V3_DUAL for H61MGV3 motherboard and all the pins 5,6,7 and 8 are connected together. So you are correct and this my not work in different scenario.

help SG2701B01-7 panel chinese, would this integrated circuit be equivalent? Chinese IC CS601C regulator.
            by valente222
Hi, I'm repairing this Chinese SG2701B01-7 panel. There isn't much information about it. The original part for the panel is a CSOT CS601C regulator. I can't find anything commercial on Aliexpress; there's only the CS601 without the final 'C'. They claim it's a variant. But will it be compatible? Well, my diagnosis on this screen is a video problem; the image is practically black, although there is HDMI communication. The LED light is on (backlight), but there is no VGL, no 3.3V, and no VSS. It seems that this IC is the one controlling these voltages. The monitor worked correctly for a moment and...

            hello,

i have a hp display 2311 to repair, totaly dead
on the board, il have 2 capacitor 470µf that are dead and the 3.3v regulator : ax6630-33
i have no such regulator, can i replace this one with a mic5209-33 (3.3v outpout regulator too) ?

            thank you

Repair of Sign WiFi Smart Plug PCB: SA-P302A v1.2 due to bad caps - with schematic
            by Per Hansson
I have repaired a Sign WiFi Smart Plug with model number: SNSM-WASINGLE sold by Spares Nordic AB in Sweden.
The fault condition was that the device gave no signs of life: pressing the push button did not cycle the internal relay and the blue LED did not come on and it was not seen on the WiFi network.
The fault was very simple, capacitor C3 on the PCB with writing "KSJ" and "LOWESR" had literally blown its top off, after replacing it the device works fine again!

As I find linear high voltage regulator designs interesting I drew up the attached schematic...

Texas Instruments TPS51427ARHBT TPS51427ARHBR Dual D-CAP Synchronous Step-Down Controller for Laptop Computers
            by Document Archive
The TPS51427A TPS51427ARHBT TPS51427ARHBR are dual synchronous step-down controllers designed for laptop and mobile communications applications. This device is part of a low-cost suite of notebook power bus regulators that enables system designs with low external component counts.

The TPS51427A includes two pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controllers, SMPS1 and SMPS2. The output of SMPS1 can be adjusted from 0.7V to 5.9V, while the output of SMPS2 can be adjusted from 0.5V to 2.5V. This device also features a low-dropout (LDO) regulator that provides a 5-V/3.3-V output, or adjustable...

Looking for boardview or schematic for Asus Radeon 5500 XT Dual
            by Byte_76
Hello, I bought a Radeon 5500 XT Dual for very cheap.

The card is not detected by the PC and the GPU remains cold.

Using my fingers, I was able to identify that a linear dropout regulator (uP0132Q) and a small component nearby (maybe a resistor) are getting very hot while the rest of the board is cold.

I get a beep in continuity mode across two caps next to the LDR. Could this be due to a short in the LDR or another nearby commponent? (The caps don't get vey hot)

I'm trying to figure out whether the LDR is faulty or another component aroud the...
