For +12V signal is not available since it coming from power No (20) SUSC_EC#, and before SUSC_EC# is (19) PM_SUSB# and PM_SUSC# which is i'm stuck now. The +12V rail is ok no short. 3VSUS_PWRGD and +5VSUS_PWRGD is available.

Hi All,[LIST][*]I bought faulty ROG recently from my friend hope that I can fix it by myself since it more thrill to repair it. Model ASUS ROG GL552VW REV 2.0. Refer picture below. I fix few faulty laptop some of that success because of faulty caps. But for this ROG, I'm stuck. From power sequence, 19V, 3V5V is present.[*]The power present is from No 1 until 17 (PM_RSMRST#) during power button is being push. But at No 18 (PM_SUSC#, no signal SLP_S4# coming from PCH. And no signal so on.

Is it worth to repair? May you assist me check which soc number in the schematic i provided below, maybe i can trace back and order new. Fyi, after i replaced PQZ3, it has output 0.8V for +VCC_CORE. Only no output at PQG1 for +VCC_GT rail. That's the only one left no power after I turn on. I replaced IC driver PUG1 and mosfet PQG1 also no fate. Below the voltage output i trace from PUG1:

Please really2 need Help on this Acer A515-52G Motherboard Compal EH5AW LA-G521P Rev: 1A.
At first this laptop can on, keyboard light on but no display. Open the motherboard, found out the PQZ3 Mosfet and PUZ3 ic near it burn. Refer picture below. Then I replaced both. All the power rail 3.3,5,1.2, 1.35, 0.8V have power back after i turn on the laptop except for the VCC_GT rail. Voltage at Power Supply showing 0.000A before turn on, after turn on it became 0.5 0.6A. Seem cannot boot and still no display. Then I replaced the PUG1 and mosfet, but the VCC_GT still no power....

Hi there,
Guys anyone here can help me. During troubleshoot the motherboard, my 1st and new psu unable to boot the motherboard. Even though i set the 20V, my old Compaq CQ42 motherboard had the led white light at charging port. When press on button, the led blinking to red and gone back to white state. But i change the oem hp compaq adapter which is i measure 19.45V. Using that can boot the motherboard and fan spinning. Then i reconnect psu and tried set the 19.45V, still blinking red. Anyone know what happen? Is it psu not compatible? All is check and voltage is there....

Since i already order the power supply regulator. From that, i can check the current and voltage go inside motherboard.

Since then I really like to learn about electronic and repairing since I'm currently took Bachelor in Electronic Engineering. I want to repair my dead gaming laptop.
