Samsung 46 LNS4692DX/XAA SP01 Horizontal Lines

See attached picture - These Horizontal lines appear on all inputs. The picture is clear other than the noisy lines left to right, they do not move.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Since is a Samsung, I would start replacing all the power supply capacitors.
Just to exclude them.

Thanks for the response - I have replaced the 4 bulging 1000mf caps on the power supply - none of the others looked bad, i certainly can do the rest.

Where did you get replacement capacitors from?

Fry's do not sell the required low-esr capacitors. They only sell general purpose capacitors. You would need to order proper replacements from places like Digikey, Mouser, or this very website.

Digikey carry Panasonic FM/FR/FC which are highly recommended around here. Shipping is under $3.

Just a note, the horizontal lines were there before I replaced the few caps i mentioned above, the horizontal didn't change a bit.

Advice taken, thanks - will order the "right" capacitors and replace them all.

You may have further problems, but it's hard to get a baseline without the right components. If in any doubt about your order, list the items to us first so we can confirm if they are suitable.
