        Re: Baird JO37BAIRD(A) No Power

its one of them £30.00 is not bad just make sure you can return it if faulty also has your board got a sticker on of the full model number as some of them have a rev 1/2/3 etc number after it which could mean it may not work in your set.
i would for now continue to fault find although all those items are in that kit it may be only 1 or 2 bits have gone faulty and could save you some cash. how i some times find faults as i am still a newbie at this is to look whats in the repair kits then test them on my faulty board i would say you have a good chance of finding the faulty part then.

when it comes just make sure the plugs which say the voltages on all match up ok ie 24 volts grounds etc it should be ok will be a cheap fix it fixes it.

pictures of both board connections might help even the seller said it was the later version so its the alternative to the one you have so confused now to so what are the differences you can see?
he should accept it as a return as he was even sure it would be ok and work and he a does accept returns.

Well, in the worst case, you could probably cut the wires off the current connector and solder to those points. You may need a small drill to get through the plated solder, if you can't wick it out.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                            Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                            Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!
