OK, well Panasonic are fine then... had me worried there... [M] is usually printed on them for Matsushita Electric Industrial (Panasonic's parent company.)

yea i order that remote, and take it from there, so will i have to leave it bridged for now, until i can reset the lamp error?

You will need to replace the bulb, unless you can live with the dim bar in the screen.

I think you can use a non original remote but I'm not 100% sure.

Tom66 you are a genius , remote came today did the reset like you did in the video, the rest is history.

Had too work out how to do a dtv scan, but i sorted it working perfect so far.

Dont believe this Backlight Acutime is only 4361H 10M

Do i got remove the bridge C7558?

I give it a proper good test from tommorows but im well happy.

Remove bridge C7558, but test thoroughly. If it starts throwing LAMP ERROR then you need to fix the fault with the bulb unless you can live with dim patch.

I cant see no problem, no dark patch while watching.

I give it a proper test, if needed then i order that bulb.

I remove the bridge tomorrow, just to happy to go playing with it.

Only thing i dont like is the freeview channels aint in the same order that im used to, think its scrambled.
                              Got channel never had before.

So i do believe i may have a bulb problem.

How do i goto about getting the correct bulb for this tv.

Hi. I need help from wiser guys. I am amateur in electronics and can't figure this out by myself.
I bought faulty speakers, M-Audio AV40's. Other speaker has all the electronics in it and the other speaker is just passive one powered by the other speaker's amp. Original problem with the speakers was loud buzzing. I figured out that there is something wrong with the capacitors. I went ahead and replaced every electrolytic capacitor on the PCB. The caps are good quality and have the same values as the original ones.
After replacing the caps I started testing out the speaker. It seemed...

What Zener Diodes on a Linear Power Supply
                                            by caspian
                                            Dear members,

I have a linear variable power supply with unknown brand name that I used for voltage injection.
Then it failed. I discovered that its transistors (Q1 and Q2) are shorted.
In addition, I discovered that its zener diodes are defective.
I can replace the burned transistors.
But I do not know the model of the zener diodes. the model number is not marked on the zener diodes.
Therefore, I cannot replace the zener diodes.
I do not want to test the zener diodes in a test circuit to discover their model or value.
                                            no schematics are available...

All voltage are OK on PSU and main board for regulator. I tried flash firmware 25Q64 with many dumps

But the voltage on power button is 0.6V not 3.3V. When i press power button the voltage up to 0V. I tried to add 5V with Power Supply on 5V_STB and 3.3V on Power...

I enclose the psu diagram, after the first routine checks I find myself with a regular standby voltage of 3.3v blue light on steady when the power button is pressed nothing happens, psu disassembled and bench checked ... forced ignition by sending a signal 3 , 3v on the SW and PWM2 pins the psu turns on and delivers all the voltages...

Hi. I have the following problem with my TV. After connecting to mains, the standby led (red) turns on, but TV is not responding to remote control or buttons on TV. After some measurements, I found out that +5 V standby voltage is present, but I dont have ON/OFF signal coming in to turn PSU on. It stays at zero volts. After looking at the schematic of the mainboard, I should get ON/OFF signal coming in at the R1402 resistor, but it stays around +3,5 V. So I removed it and I was able to turn on TV with buttons on TV, but not with remote control.

What could be the problem ? Thanks...
