I'm very glad to be able to come back with another adventure and willing to make it to be a very pleasant experience. I really learned a lot last time. I got this tv from craiglist. The tv turn on with back light but no sound or video. I'm able to turn it on and off with the remote but tha's all i can do. I bougth a main board on ebay but it did tha same thing.On the power supply I am getting the 24.v on cn2, cn3, cn4 and 11.74v and 5v on cn5. At the t-con board i'm getting 11.6v boths side on the pico fuse. Pico fuse on the inverter are good. Main board pico fuse are all good. check both side, getting same reading. f6=5v, f4=4.6, f1=5v, f2=11.7v, f5=5.v. Audio board is getting the 24.v

I been doing some more research on the boards and this is what i got. On the main board I tested the voltage regulator and got this:
u16 in 11.7v, out 5.0v,
u45 in 11.7, out 5.0v,
u15 gnd. 2.1v, vo 3.3v, vi 4.9v,
u20 gnd .5v, vi 3.3v,
u21 pin 1, 0, pin 2, 1.2v, pin 3, 0 (I DOUBLE CHECK THIS READING, BLACK PROBE ON GROUND
U22 PIN 1, 2.0V, PIN 2, 3.3V, PIN 3, 5.0V
U17 PIN 1, 2.0V, PIN 2, 3.3V, PIN 3, 5.0V
ON LOGIG BOARD, (DAUTHER BOARD)
U10 PIN 1, 0 READING, PIN 2, 0 READING, PIN 3, 3.3V ( i REPLACE THIS REGULATOR BUT STILL GIVE ME THE SAME READING). HOPE THIS INF. WILL HELPComment

Hi Bud, I been playing with this tv all day, but i think i found out what's wrong. I unplug one of the top t-con ribbon and half of the screen came alive with sound, that tell me that i have a problem in the t-con board. I am going to check if there is another fuse for that side, if not i am going to order a t-con board. Keep you in touch.Comment

Your tcon appears to have 6 fuses, the main ceramic one plus the other 4 on the left side labeled fl21, fl22, fl120, fl122. plus one more on right fl20, hope that helpsLiberating magic smoke one part at a timeComment

I had one LCD TV I was working on that had a white screen only no picture with sound, I had to take a hair dryer and heat up the top area of the LCD Panel/Screen going all the way across it back and forth, that's where the 2 ribbon cables come out of the T-CON and go to the small narrow boards at the very top, after doing this I got vertical lines and then eventually a normal picture.
Also try slightly twisting the panel and see if your picture returns, sometimes bad tab bonds can cause a white screen and or vertical lines. be sure to make sure the ribbon cables are seated into their connectors properly.Comment

Can you completely remove the ribbons from the panel and the T-Con? If so, you say with one side connected you get a half picture, right? Try taking the ribbon from the good side and swapping it to the other side. Maybe you have a short in the ribbon cable.Comment

To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment... -
I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
Another TV topic!!
I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.
The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.
Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?... -
