    Digitizer?

I'm trying to find the resistors on digitizer but can't find it. Do you know where to get a replacement?

Do you mean their resistance can drop even lower when its overloaded?

Most resistors increase in value when the fail. An increase in value leads to an increase in output voltage.

Question: whats the difference between these resistors and the other ones? how come these are green and the other smd ones are usually black?

They are precision thin film 1% or better, because the output might have a 2 or 3% tolerance which is hard to achieve with standard thin film resistors (5% per resistor, plus 2% TL431 error.)

That seems OK, but the value seems a little low for a 24V rail feedback... I'm working on the idea that overloading them can change their value and cause the feedback to be incorrect.

its 102 and 123, so 1000 ohms and 12000 ohms?

Calculating Equivalent resistance I get 923 ohms.

Measure the resistors in circuit I'm getting 793 ohms

    Good.

    Read the values off each.

Then use this SMD code table to work out the values:
    http://www.talkingelectronics.com/pr...-Markings.html

For the two parallel 24V resistors, read their individual values, then calculate the equivalent parallel resistance using Rpar = (R1*R2)/(R1+R2).

Yep I thats right, one is grounded and the other goes to those resistors

Is one of the ends there grounded, and the other end goes to those three resistors? Test for continuity.

Those are the main ones, but see that common trace they all feed into? This should go into the "TL431", then there will be a resistor from there into ground, do you see that?

Heres the label of the resistors.

Is 752 the lower feedback resistor?

It appears to combine feedback from 24V and 12V, unlike singly regulating just one rail. So the fault is most likely in the lower feedback resistor, which these two connect to. Are the values for any of these written on the devices? They will be written in code e.g. 10C.

The two resistors below it, in this case.

2.49V is good actually -- that's the reference voltage. On this picture https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...1&d=1359769688, is there 12.9V at the jumper near R6411?

The right pin measures 2.49V steady as it cycles through the problem.

The left pin measures 10.84V steady only when the lights come on, when it goes off it goes unsteady between 10.20V to 10.77 V

Give it has three pins connected, but that device has only two, it seems unlikely.

So I have to replace it with a TL431?

I've been looking around for an EB1 datasheet. Does this look like the one?

Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 - only Sony logo for 3 seconds
    by mauda
I'm currently working on repairing a malfunctioning Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 with the mainboard 1-981-926-21. I would appreciate your assistance with this issue.

Upon powering on the TV, the Sony logo appears for approximately 3 seconds, after which the backlight remains lit, the screen remains black, and nothing else happens. The TV consumes around 55W initially and then drops to 35W. The indicator LED remains solid white. It doesn't respond to the remote control. When attempting to update the TV using a USB dongle, the dongle briefly flashes but nothing else happens.

Sony LED 65X9005A shuts down after few seconds - looking for help
    by tec3000
Hi community! Germany calling I am wondering if you guys can help me out. I have an issue with my Sony LED TV. I've been told this is a good place to ask. Thanks for anyone who will reply and offer advice. Appreciated!

I have a KD-65X9005A Sony 4k LED TV. For a few weeks I've got this problem where I turn on the TV and within a few seconds the TV starts getting darker until it shuts itself off and I get the 4 blinking error code. HOWEVER there is one exception: Whenever I switch to the i-Manual, a full screen on-screen instruction manual, the TV never turns off. I tested for hours!...

Sony KD-65A1 Repair – 4 Red Blinks Error
    by AK_777
    Hi everyone!
I have a Sony KD-65A1 TV with a fault – 4 red LED blinks. After disassembly and visual inspection, I found that the G76 power board and DKA board had been replaced. It is also possible that TCON was replaced, but I am not sure – there are a few marker marks that could be factory-made.

Based on assumptions, the previous service attempted to solve the issue by replacing potentially faulty components. I decided to investigate further, found a service manual, and figured out a way to power up the power supply unit autonomously and put the OLED panel and...

    Sony A1e 5-blinks help
    by jchon
Hi I'm new to trying to repair TVs, but I saw a broken OLED offered for a reasonable price and thought I'd try my hand at it.

I found the service manual, which was critical to know where to probe.
    https://www.manualslib.com/manual/20...1e-Series.html

With it I was able to determine that my DKA board was bad, when P_ON#1/2 gets enabled REG_12 on the DKA board collapses. I'm assuming one of the downstream regulators has a short, but I couldn't work out which rail/component and replaced the DKA board entirely.

    Unfortunately the 5-blinks...

    Sony XBR-65X850D 2 Red Blinks
    by Nicktronic
    Hi all,

I have the subject TV and it will work normally sometimes but suddenly go black and give the 2 red blinks blink code. When this happens, I check the power supply board voltages and all I have is the Standby 3.3V and BL_ERR 2.2V. When it's working normally, all power supply board voltages look normal and stable. I've checked the backlights with a tester and they all test good. I've also read that the 2 red blinks is a faulty power supply board, so could it be throwing up an erroneous BL_ERR?

Any Sony experts out there that can help??...
