OK, the LDO looks OK, but you are not getting enough BL_ON signal to turn on the backlights, I expect it to be >3VDC, the VDIM can be from 1~5V for dimming. So basically, the Main board is not putting out the correct signal for the inverter board to work.

You can force the inverter on by cutting the BL_ON wire and then feed the BL_ON on the inverter board through 1K resistor with external 3V to see if the backlights will flash on. At this point you should look for replacement main board. By the way, you may want to read Basic LCD TV Troubleshooting guide on the the link under my signature.

OK, running into almost the same thing.Found that the power supply was bad (bad caps), replaced those. Can get the screen to flash on for a second but then goes out. Voltages are good (except my 12V line, it runs high also, like 13.4V).
Pulled the inverter board, checking around with DMM set to Resistance and found one of the output driver coils measures higher than the others (15K as apposed to 3.XK).
Would this make the display flash on and then go off?

Looking for another inverter board (cheap) but haven't found one yet that matches what I have. Would LOVE just to find the Xfmrs.....
I've got nothing in this right now except time, TV was given to me, would like to get it going but really, not winning or losing anything either way.....
