Hey guys. I have a ViewSonic N3735W that powes on, the backlight lights for about 2 seconds and then turns off. power supply and light on the front stay lit.
Any ideas?.

Lets, check the resistance reading on the high voltage windings of the inverter transformers.

Just a note, TV must be off and should be unplugged while doing this.

I have a viewsonic n2060w-1e, not sure if its the same psu or inverter but if you find out i will be happy to take some readings for you.Do NOT touch heatsinks when testing for voltages as they may be LIVE!Comment

The reading I.E. 245.3, what meter range are you using? We cannot tell if it is 245.3 Ohms, K Ohms, Mega Ohms.

That does not sound right then, I do not think it can be in over 200,000 Ohms range. I may be wrong on the pin out in these transformers.
I cannot read the P/N as printed on the top of the transformers, can you please tell me what the numbers are?

I believe what I think the way the transformer are made is correct, I would suggest remove the number 7 transformer so you can look at the bottom side of the transformer to verify the windings for sure.Never stop learning

A DMM will give a negative reading on ohms if it is either:
a) broken

I have an Anker SoundCore 2 (A3105) that I saved from the trash (well, I guess there's a reason why it was supposed to go into the trash...). The problem is that it always turns off after a few seconds (sometimes it stays on a bit longer, between 30 and 60 seconds, but it still turns off). The power light turns on and the bluetooth light starts blinking, but both abruptly turn off again. The "turn off sound" is still played after the lights turn off. Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.
