the blue stand by light is lit but when I go to turn on the tv the blue light goes off and nothing. I have tested the power supply and it is putting 24v out to the inverter. I am open to some ideas. I have tested all 4 fuses on the inverter and they all test good. I have tested the caps on the inverter and they are all good. I have tested the transformers and they are testing good.

You can see the BLON pin label right at the white connection picture #6 which the printing is cutout in the picture.. What resistance do you read on that black F4 fuse?Last edited by budm; 12-07-2012, 10:17 PM.Never stop learning

I have the same exact TV, and was wondering what your outcome turned out.

by CapLeakerSooo... I have an interesting victim today. Our special on the menu is a APC Smart UPS SUA1500. Looks like it's got Alzheimer or isn't smart anymore (dead, dumb as f@ck), but at the same time it isn't.
Battery is about a year old and they are good at a resting voltage of 26.5VDC. If I press the on button for 3 seconds it does turn the inverter on and I get 120VAC no problem at the back and the battery shows full. So it isn't the battery. It also charges the battery no problem when plugged in add that as a twist!
However if I plug it in with the battery attached it won't... -
by lostoneHello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.
First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...-

by pajdekHello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited...

by jbsersHello everyone
I have a QE55Q85RAT TV that no longer turns on - to be more precise, here are the diagnostic elements:
- when I turn it on, the red LED flashes once, we hear a slight "zz" twice on the motherboard, then the LED flashes twice and this cycle repeats indefinitely and no image
- taking inspiration from certain forums, I put tape on 4 tracks of the ribbon which goes from the motherboard to the panel and then, the TV still does not show any image but the sound works and the TV responds to the remote control (I turned on the voice guide)... -
by mikey5791Hi to all forum members,
This psu (Tiny Tech model ATX 480W) had been installed in a very old Windows XP PC but recently i pulled it out as the pc cannot start. To test it, i jumped the green wire and black wire on the 24 pin connector. The psu fan jerk a bit but not spinning. I used my dmm to check dc voltage on output connector wire, the 5v red wire keeps ticking a bit at around dc1v....then drops and ticking again around 1v. It is the same situation with the 12v yellow wire.
Fyi, i desoldered the secondary side electrolytic cap those over 1000uf... - Loading...
