hi new here and even novis in electronic and even my English is not the best but i´ll try to explain the best i can.As the title the screen get a smash so the tv have no picture but there is a sound I enclose here a few pictures that might help to help me. the question here is whether it is possible to remove the first glass sheet which it use to be a protection but are not entirely sure because I see that there is 6 ribon connectors on one side and only two for the other side are probably glued to the glass plate is there anyone who knows? when it comes to the main circuit then there is a capasitor that is swollen I thought ask first to know if it is worth the effort before starting something else thank you

If your panel is cracked on a plasma, you're pretty much out of luck. You will have to replace the panel to get it working again.

Does the TV make a loud buzzing sound? If so, the panel is bad.

hello and thank you again there is no strange sounds att start just a kling sound and then like normal sounds and normal moving to other chanels .in the back side on the Tcon there is a green light blinking also there is ho seems to be a bad cap on the power board i´ll replace that one to see if it gives any change

The PDP panel is cracked. Don't was your time replacing other parts. Only thing thats going to bring this TV back to life is to replace the plasma panel, which is not cost effective. Use this TV for parts.

Whenever the panel is cracked, you will get absolutely no light emission. However the rest of the TV will behave as if nothing has happened.

The TV is only worth gutting at this point and is worth gutting the parts and possibly helping out someone else in the future with with those parts you pull out of it. I just stripped one of these last month and gave the metal and screen to a local metal guy.

It's terminal... When the plasma screen cracks, it doesn't work any more.

hello I woold like to know if these models have a built-in glass plate? because there are two pieces of glass on each other but on closer inspection the one on the top have rubon contact glued on it I was talking about earlier, anyhow i ´ll just change one capacitor and se if it gives anything

These plasmas don't; I'm only aware of Panasonic using a toughened glass plate which goes in front of the plasma panel. If either layer breaks, the TV doesn't work any more, and the fault isn't repairable, no matter how many capacitors you replace, it'll never work...

thank you for a clear answer the capacitor have to be changed anyhow cause it is the only one ho looks broken this in a case if shall sell it so i have to have it working fine

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's one of the few unrepairable faults. Until someone invents a way to heal the holes in the glass, and re-gas the panel. But I doubt that will happen...
