Re: No Picture or Audio on Insignia NS-LCD26
That is the only I can see, but I think there are more switching power supplies on the main board, I do not have any more suggestion for this repair unless you can get a hold of service manual.Never stop learning

I was just trying to make sure it was the Main Board before I spent the money. Again I really appreciate the help!

Re: No Picture or Audio on Insignia NS-LCD26
I have this TV and had to repair it due to it not turning on, which started as being hard to turn on, having to hold the power button down longer.
I could hear the power supply's regulation loop cycling over and over as I held the power button down, so I took my soldering iron and heated up each electrolytic on the secondary side and it started to make a high pitch wine and the TV turned on. I cooled them with canned air (held upside down) and tried to turn the set on again, the power supply would cycle over and over without turning on. Heating the capacitors up caused the set to power on.
Diagnosis: Capacitor's ESR too high, heating temporarily lowers ESR.
Fix: Replace following capacitors...
2 x 35V 1000uF
3 x 25V 1000uF
2 x 16V 470uF
All capacitors were replaced with 105C Rubycon and Nichicon brand capacitors, and the set turns on without issue now.Comment

by srsI'm not sure what to do next and came here since y'all helped me fix a 50" plasma TV back in 2014, which is still working!
A friend gave me an Insignia NS-50DR620NA18 50" TV that suddenly developed large vertical lines on it. He said he had no idea what might have caused it and has replaced it with a larger TV. He was going to throw it away.
I did not notice any bulged or leaking caps on any board, the voltages produced by the power supply match the voltage that the pins are marked. The backlight leds are working. I have tried cleaning the ribbon cables... -
by cheeky2I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection... -
by Tr0llHi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.
The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...2 Photos - Loading...
