I have a Philips LCD model#47PFL3603D/27. The problem I am having is that I will be watching the TV and the the screen will go black. I still have sound. Sometimes the screen goes black slowly, other times instantly. Sometimes it will work good for over an hour or two, other times five minutes or less. It also occasionally makes noise as it goes to black. I can shine a flashlight at the right angle and see whats on the screen. I have taken the back off the TV and cant see anything obvious, but I have little to no knowledge in this department. I have read some people having this problem but a few different fixes. wondering if anyone has had this exact problem or any experience with this TV and an exact fix. I took some pictures, dont know if they will help or not. Can take more pics if needed. Thanks in advance, Andy

Re: Philips LCD 47 black screen
Look at the screen in the darkened room when the picture goes black, see if you can see the slight glow from the backlights or not, we need to find out if the backlights go out or the T-CON board quit working.Never stop learning
