Is there a legend by the connectors? The T-CON one doesn't look right.

What do you mean by "legend"? I'm no "Tech" I generally work on cars and stuff. Here's the pic of the T-Con and the connector I tested.

Voltages printed on the board(if they are there), they match up with the measured ones?

no voltage "legend" on the boards

Interesting that the picture would be there but negative, it would seem main board may be sending wrong signals to T-Con board, especially if T-Con board didn't fix it...

What would it take to cause a negative image down to the pixel in the LCD panel compared to a normal image? Is it as simple as the on/off pixels being reversed?

Oh I meant to ask if the monochrome setting made it seem the black was where the white was supposed to be and vice versa? Or in other words, backwards? (Just curious lol)

Here is something you may want to glance at (as well as other ppl)
http://www.eserviceinfo.com/repair_tips.php?pagetogo=1 (type in negative under problem) (it won' let me have a link directly to it for some reason)

Maybe you have a power supply prob. The flashing lights mentioned earlier was an error code. Sounds like a 3.3v detection error

                  Pg 62 is error codes

Ok your pic of the back of the tv is very hard to decipher what connector is to what but note which connector the T-CON ones go to and either let me know or you can look at the back of the SM and go through the schematics and find the outputs
                  It should look like P2601

And the power supply does have a legend by the connector but are more or less ambiguous from what I can see.

                    Search results.....

                    Found: 0

Mono chrome didn't do much but remove the color.

There's a TV that I was messing with(an older Sony Bravia LCD) and it actually has a setting where it would change the picture to a "negative" looking image which looks like what my TV is stuck with. It's a setting that says something like "Invert" which is set either off or on. Next time I'm around it I'll take some photos.

whoops haha I guess I should check my links. Ok well click on it and type in negative under problems. A couple said eeprom but since you changed the main, I would figure something with p/s or voltage distribution thereof or by some odd chance the lvds cable.

Has there been a resolution to this yet? I have someone with a Toshiba with the same negative image, which on a PC you can create by inverting the colors, it would seem to be a main board problem but trying to understand why that could happen??
