37LG6000 replaced fuse but now cant change input or use remote

changed a fuse in the power supply everything else looks fine tested for shorts and was fine, so powered back up and i get HDMI1 comes up in the corner and thats it no input through it, the side buttons dont work either and the remote turns the tv on and thats it, any ideas guys?

will post some pics of main board tomorrow, but is there some kind of reset i can do with the remote or buttons or anything?

Check 3.3V regulator on main board, 3.4V from PSU. Had similar issue with LG 37LC2D.

Re: 37LG6000 replaced fuse but now cant change input or use remote

finally got the computer to connect to my phone...so here are the pics...

there is no 3.3v, how ever there is 3v for PWR that goes from power supply to other power supply board then goes to the main board, all other voltages are correct 5.2v 12v 16v

cant find the voltage regulator that you speak of?

Replaced the PSU about £30... but my PSU was different.

will check it tomorrow night, thanks selldoor, is this a common fault? and is that the likely cause of the fuse on the power board being blown?

Three others on this forum have reported it with 37LC2D - but all have been regarding the 37LC2D and not 37LG6000 which is completely different.

                  Probably not, possibly another fault.

Re: 37LG6000 replaced fuse but now cant change input or use remote

with all the voltages being correct on the power supply and the tv powering up and screen coming on i was thinking it would be a main board fault especially with the remote and the buttons not working correctly as well, so the only cause would be a power surge or a blown component and if a component was faulty i would of thought the fuse would have blown again when i replaced it?

i will test IC1001 tomorrow and report back

i have looked for a main board for this and so far havent found one, so fingers crossed its that IC and hopefully i can replace that with a bit of precision soldering and a lot of praying ;-)

what does No Raster mean? on page 19

                          3. No Raster
                          Symptom
                          1) No OSD and image occur on the screen.
                          2) It maintains the condition with the front LED is white.

ive been through flow chart, inverter is ok, that only leaves LCD Module so that cant be right? what is ment by LCD module the panel itself?

Exactly what is says - no picture at all INCLUDING no OSD: "No OSD and image occur on the screen."

If all supply voltages are good, the problem is most likely on the main board, possibly the sub MICOM (microcontroller), could have corrupted firmware. Look for part# on main board maybe available for different model?

Notice a "dealer service kit" - all boards - for £60 here

                              http://www.bixreclamation.co.uk/LG_3.../p11118_dk.htm

Maybe worth having a look at?

I had same issue with my LE32N73 (getting a new main board), but I just sold it on to someone else who is an experienced TV tech (much more experienced than myself) so they will probably have better luck.

Have you tried the usual hold the power button in while plugging in.
There are also stories of flicking between tv and av and whatever on the remote to get the controller to throw a wobbly and reset ( No practical experience of either.)
Can I assume you have tried other inputs to try and get it to change off hdmi

be a shame to have to strip it, its a well nice tv, think ill just end up holding onto it for a while, put it back together and shove it out of the way until 1 comes up, if 1 comes up....lol

ive only tried buttons to change input, and ive swopped hdmi out of each hdmi input, not tried putting scart into tv or aerial but ill try it anyway tomorrow, ill try the remote thing as well when i do it but im not holding my breath

So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:

                                          1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.

                                          2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not...

A funny fuse story – Lumix LX100 II
                                          by corrize
Hello, I disassembled this dead camera, and found this WTF… Two fuses soldered one above the other !
I was pretty sure nobody touched it before, but that can't be from factory. There is flux, and capacitor is probably missing.
                                          The other weird thing : the fuses are « G » fuse : (0.75A – 8V), seems very low. The original fuse should be « O » : (32V 2,5A).
There is « O » mark beside. All fuses have the same mark letter on main board. So, I can deduce it's a « O » fuse.
And this correspond to the issus I saw : when I plug the battery, I measure the voltage dropping...

Samsung flicker - BN44-00932T board or else?

I picked up this TV that the prior owner said - just died.

Tested the fuse - burnt. A dead capacitor is visible too on the hot side (CP801). Got the replacement power board (cheaply - used). Replaced the board - the TV turned ON!

Now, about a month later (yesterday) I noticed the left side of the screen was flickering from time to time. That was already happening with the antenna input, not through HDMI.

Also, some glitchiness with a Fire stick on HDMI3 - I hit an app with quick dark screen in stick, the TV goes - no input. Then I had to choose the stick...

Samsung UE46ES8000 Blown fuse but no other signs of short

Hi I wonder if anyone might be able to steer me in the right direction. I have this Samsung UE46ES8000 TV and it went bang during use. The main fuse on the PSU board is open. I've checked every diode/mosfet/transistor I can see and nothing appears to be short to cause the fuse to go. The DC output of the bridge rectifier is not short either. I've seen online that some of these models are known for having their PFC mosfet or other mosfets shorting and blowing the fuse but i'm not seeing that here. If anyone aware of these models having any issues to cause this? I'm reluctant to just replace the...

Here is a pretty crazy one.

                                          Step 1.
Laptop was brought to me as dead not working. Removed everything , cleared everything.
                                          Step 2.

Some liquid damage close to the Type - C connector, and the connector even though it was cleaned wasn't charging the battery . Removed the Type-C port, and replaced it. Now the laptop turns on and charges battery. Shows external screen , not internal.
                                          Step 3.

Took out the screen and checked it to a secondary Gen 2 i have, screen works like a charm.
                                          Step 4.

Lets ,dive into the board. I see the edp cable on the...
