Hey yall. I got a Samsung 40" LCD TV that turns on and functions fine, but everything on the screen is tripled. Like double vision, but tripled. I have never seen this kind of thing before. Please help me I am not sure where to start here. Thanks

Without seeing any pictures of this problem my first guess would have to be main board, is the problem on all imputs as well as the On Screen Display (OSD). -

Sorry I have no pictures, it is disassembled at the moment. I will button it together and get you pictures. Also It does it on all inputs at all times. Sometimes if it sits powered on for an hour or so, it will start to clear up.Comment

Yes the channel number is tripled, the menu box is tripled when I watch a channel, everything is pretty clear, just tripled.Comment

It has an Auto Motion feature 120Hz. Low, normal or High. Neither setting does anything.Comment

If you use a can of compressed air, invert the can to get freeze spray out of it - two in one function for most.

I do not have much luck my screens, the foam (I use high density foam) will shrink down as time goes by and the tabs become loose again.Never stop learning

Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
- sound and backlight, but no picture
- when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
- it keeps rebooting
- without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
- without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
- when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.
- without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered... -
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

Hello all,
This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...
