Re: Sanyo CE32LD47-B flashing standby light
Fitted replacement power board and set is now working.I think the clue to this one all along was the fact that the power supply would run without the main board connected.Hope this helps anyone else who has this fault.Leave a comment:

They are model specific, but they can be programmed easily. Worst case you usually get a wrong colour image due to panel settings being wrong; you can use 4725-MENU (on remote) to access service menu and reprogram it.Leave a comment:

Tom how did you know that this is a 17MB35? Did you just recognise it? Have ordered one on ebay model specific but could have paid a lot less.Could not see those numbers anywhere on the board.Leave a comment:

Thanks for all the replies.Any thoughts on why the PS runs with main board disconnected?Leave a comment:

Re: Sanyo CE32LD47-B flashing standby light
17MB35's are common, and pretty cheap.

Just make sure you get one with the right number of HDMIs.Leave a comment:

Re: Sanyo CE32LD47-B flashing standby light
I've checked the two schottkys and they read OK as do the 0 rated resistors.None of the voltage rails have low resistance.
What is confusing me is why the power supply runs OK with the main board disconnected as I thought it needed a ps-on signal from the main to turn on.Leave a comment:

Re: Sanyo CE32LD47-B flashing standby light
Put your black probe on one of the metal clips of the HDMI connectors, or the RF can. That will be grounded. Now measure the resistance from each voltage rail.Leave a comment:

Re: Sanyo CE32LD47-B flashing standby light
Desparation setting in - try testing the schottky Diodes part no SK 33 bottom left corner of your main board picture. Also in that area there are 4-5 zero rated resistors - can you check those as if they were a fuse- on ohms should read the same as touching the probes togetherLast edited by selldoor; 08-06-2012, 01:09 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: Sanyo CE32LD47-B flashing standby light
Here is the picture of the other side of main board.
To summarize. All voltages on the power supply come up at switch on but no BL-On Voltage. The TV has a solid front led i.e. not flashing. After 10 seconds I can hear a tick from the power supply and it shuts down. All voltages die except 3.3v stby and 5v stby. Then the power supply restarts. After less time about 5 seconds same thing happens. After 3rd shut down just left with 3.3vstby and 5v stby and flashing front LED.Leave a comment:

Classic crappy Vestel. Opened one up to find the heatsink had fallen off!
I will say Vestel quality has slightly improved over the years, but they are still rubbish TVs.Last edited by tom66; 08-05-2012, 11:24 AM.Leave a comment:

by 7onyThe TV is a 2013 Samsung plasma, model # PN60F5300AFXZA.
Snagged it up in non-working condition a couple years ago. Previous owner said that sometimes he could get it to come on after repeated tries but other than that he couldn't get it to turn on.
Personally I haven't been able to get it to turn on at all. The standby light comes on solid when plugged in, but pressing the power button results in the standby light flashing once every 4 or so seconds. No "click" noises, no light from the panel at all. Just the flashing standby light.

by BloopetaHave a Samsung UE43KU6400U that will not turn on, just continuous flashing red standby light.
Power button does nothing
Have unplugged the mainboard, and backlights illuminate.
Have tried removing panel ribbon cables one at a time, and that makes no change.
With mainboard unplugged, all voltages from powerboard seem ok, but with mainboard connected, they never quite reach full voltage, and drop and raise in a constant loop (in time with click noise from mainboard.
Using backlight tester, I get 63.6v on both sides, so seems like no bulbs... -
by fuxxyThis is a set I posted about a few years ago. Replaced LED strips and worked fine until now.
Plug the set in, and it will turn on and functions with no issues.
After a while, (sometimes hours, sometimes minutes, sometimes immediately) the tv shuts off. When I approach the TV I notice the standby light is flashing rapidly, but the pulse of each flash is not long enough to notice from afar.
Other than the standby light, the unit is completely unresponsive until the power is removed and reapplied, then the cycle starts over. It does appear that the time it takes... -
Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power... -
by esqmoooHello everyone.
This is my development machine. I've been using it since two years and half without any problem except sometimes it wouldn't wake up from sleep.
Lately the issue became more frequent and powering it up would take few seconds to show the POST screen.
Then the computer refuses to power on at all. Now only the caps lock button flashes 7 times then stops. The charging light is always on whenever a power source is connected (battery or charger).
I tried long pressing on the power button, after several seconds it would go off then when the button is released... - Loading...
