Sanyo DP42848 sound ok but no picture...bad t-con control?

I have other TV its Sanyo DP42848. I replaced both master and slave inverters on this TV. It power up for like 2-3second then went off. I use my flashlight and I can see something on LCD. That mean the backlight went off, does it mean T-Con control is bad?

    Thanks

No, it likely indicates a fault with the inverter boards. Did you connect the wire from master to slave? Is there a control cable from the T-con to one of the inverters?

Can we get closed up pictures of the power supply board so we can see the labels on the connectors to see which pins ae for? I am looking for 24Vdc, BL_ON, etc.

Using a multimeter on the DC 200V range, check the "24V" to case ground (red probe in 24V and in volts-ohm; black probe in a spare screw hole (make sure at least the power board is screwed to chassis for this test) and seated in COM.

look like power supply has no 24v to inverters, my meter reading show 0.00.

Are you getting this 0V on the 24V line after the TV turns on and then goes black screen?

Almost/exactly 0V after screen when blank? Also only 23V when running?

its not drop from 23v to 0.00 right away. Meter reading show like time count down. 23 then 20 then 18, then 14, 9, 4, then 0.00 and it became -0.01 sometime -0.02.

Tried to find any damage on power supply. It dont show any of sign of damage. I think power supply is bad. Im not sure.

Can you look at the PS_ON pin to see if it stays at 3VDC or higher when the 24V starts dropping?

I have the exact same TV with exact same problem, I just haven't gotten to it yet. However, if it would help, I can get any readings or measurements from mine to supplement the troubleshooting going on here. I won't hijack the thread but hope I can maybe help.

                            Hi again guys.
Today I have a problem with this Sanyo VCR.
I bought it online, It worked sometimes.
I recap the Power supply and it started working fine.
Image is perfect and all digital effects too.
All of a sudden it stopped outputting sound. I checked for dried solders an all boards and soldered when needed, no fix.
I have no sound on playback, on tuner, or aux in.
On symptom I noticed is when it was working fine, the HI-FI led was on when I power up the VCR, now is OFF, A-B leds are on but when I put a tape they go off.
On one of the sound processing...

                            Good day ladies and gentleman!

I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.

This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).

I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but...

                            by x_orange90_x
Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...
