Vizio SV420M, TV turn on but shut off after 5second on
I have Vizio SV420M....I turn it on and there is white lid come on vizio logo, and picture show up for 5 second before shut off, the white lid on vizio logo still stay on white lid, not go back to orange lid standby vizio logo. So this mean power supply is fine but main board is bad? -

its not drop from 23v to 0.00 right away. Meter reading show like time count down. 23 then 20 then 18, then 14, 9, 4, then 0.00 and it became -0.01 sometime -0.02.
Tried to find any damage on power supply. It dont show any of sign of damage. I think power supply is bad. Im not sure. -

I have other TV its Sanyo DP42848. I replaced both master and slave inverters on this TV. It power up for like 2-3second then went off. I use my flashlight and I can see something on LCD. That mean the backlight went off, does it mean T-Con control is bad?

Hello to all BadCaps buddies,
Sorry for so long to reply back. Im tell you this replace L6598 on power supply is one of the most tough job. Very super small. I did my work and failed. Too small. I decided to ordered new power supply for $40 off ebay and I installed it on this my TV and work perfect.
Im tell you its not worth work on by replace L6598. Unless if you guys have much skills than I do its your worth of time do it but not worth time for me doing it.

i have already ordered 5 pcs of L6598 from ebay. I will let yall know after replace and see if TV power back on. Also I need to know where can I get very thinner iron for soldering? because L6598 is a very small, must be a hard job to do it but I have everything tools to ready replace it but do not know where to get thinner iron on soldering.Leave a comment:

IC # Q602
1 and 2= 5.5
1 and 3= 5.6
2 and 3= 00.3
IC #Q601
1 and 2= 57.3
1 and 3= 57.3
2 and 3= 00.4
4 of IC are D240A,D240B, D120, and D51 all are 00.3 and 00.4
2 big IC are Q801 is 9.6 and other is BD1 is 10.10

4 small of IC show 00.3 to 00.4. and one big IC show 9.96 and other big IC IS 10.10Leave a comment:

you said L6562D, i check ebay it has 8 legs. The bad chip I have on power board has 16 legs. Wonder where I can find those part?Leave a comment:
