do a reset on it, push reseet with newly installed switch off. when it boots turn on the new switch and it will most likley go. mine does that sometimes with a power failure. if that dosent work then i have no idea.

I have tried turning the tv on with the switch in the off position. After the light stops blinking, I hit the reset switch. After the light stops blinking I flip the switch and then hit the power button.

The tv turns on, but the display is still the same checkerboard pattern.

I am still waiting on the 2 diodes and 2 caps to replace them and give it another try.

Okay, finally got the SMDs and replaced them. Same problem .

When I get some more time, I want to try the video output to another device to see if the video is being output the same way or if it is good. If its the same, I guess it's scrap heap time.
