Just as an aside -getting back to the camera = if you were shooting from a distance and using the digital zoom to make it bigger to fill the frame, you might get a better result if it has a macro setting (I think it has if its like the 7024) and no zoom and getting as close as you can with it in focus.

those buttons on the side only changes between landscape, an the flower thing, close up, it looks better on landscape.

Okay so with the big fat "tab" pin facing upwards the left hand pin will be the gate. Connect your black probe to the frame of the TV and on each MOSFET probe the gate pin using the red probe, and on the 200 ohm range. You should never see anything other than a single "1" if the MOSFET/driver are okay. If you see something different, note the board the fault is on. Do this with power disconnected from TV.

Master fine... slave you've got them the wrong way around. If tab were facing upwards, the gate is the left hand leg.

If everything is okay with the driver IC, then yes, you expect to see a single "1" on each pin, maybe including a decimal point. Don't confuse this with "1.0" ohms.

Yeah, it should be the same as if the probes aren't touching.

Okay next step. Check between the right hand pin and the tab pin of each FET. You should see the same "1" reading. I'm trying to locate a short here that might stop the inverter from working.

Do the same test again but this time, probe the other leg?

Or the lil bit in the middle of the mosfet and the right leg of mosfet?

The fat tab pin at the top and the other leg.

If this passes, the next step are the inverter transformers themselves.

There is a fuse on the T-con board if its one of these- google- LG Philips 6871L-1336E T-Con Board
