52" Sharp Aquos LCD White Dots

I have a 52" Aquos LC60C52U LCD The problem is it has white Dots, like a snow storm on the screen? What can be causing this, and can it be repaired?
Attached is a picture of what it looks like.

I just replaced the main board on my wife's parents 52D62U and this is what the screen looked like. It could be the tcon board. Is the fuzz in the menu screen?

It looks like T-con, assuming this is a Sharp with a separate T-con...

When I pressed on the mian board I was able to make a large persentage of the dots go away. I took the main board off and with a magnifying glass looked at most of the components (and there are many tiny ones) but I didn't see anything obvious and finding a cold solder joint on those is going to be virtually impossible. So I put it all back together and turn on the TV. The dots were 99% gone but then came back after a minute. I put pressure on this metal tab to flex the board and in doing so, it was not all the way in place (seems like some sort of grounding tab but not screwed down just snapped in place) and then the picture went perfect – for now.

Might want to check all your cables, like the lvds cable and ribbon cables to make sure theyre not what is being flexed when you push on the main board.

Alot of board grounding depends on the circuit board mounting holes with ground pads to ground the circuit grounds to the chassis, so it may be good idea to tighten up the PCB mounting screws on all the board.

Is this white-washed screen caused by a faulty T-Con board or panel? Sharp Aquos c70le735x
                by thesharpfella
Hello esteemed gentlemen. I have owned this LCD TV since 2012. The only repair was the replacement of the PSU a few years ago. Apart from that, no issues. Recently, all was working fine until I switched on to see it appear as so. The day before it was working fine. There is sound. Could this be a T-Con board issue? If not, what could it be? Thank you.

                Another TV topic!!
I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.

The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.

Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?...

Sharp Aquos Lc-80LE757U flashing Sharp on screen when plugged in
                by sefoster
I have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

SHARP LC-60LE640X display flashing white noise patches and totally dropping out randomly
                by dmcabs
                Hey guys,

I have a SHARP LC-60LE640X TV that has suddenly developed an intermittent fault of flashing white noise patches (appears like an Analog tuner off signal) and then totally dropping out.
This model I believe is also known as LC-60LE600U or LC-60LE640U in other regions.

FYI, a long time ago I was a component level repair tech for all consumer electronics and IT equipment.

I measured all power supply lines and checked them for AC ripple voltage. Noting any lines that exceeded about...

Sharp Aquos LC-40UG7252E LCD TV burn in?
                by jonah1024
                Hello!

I'm a few days old into this TV screens repair universe so please bear with me.

Recently, and all of a sudden my 40ā€ 4K Sharp Aquos LCD TV turned on with colors all smudged in some places on the screen that remain like that even without any kind of video source. I do have image but the colors are smudged/tinted/ washed out in patches as per defects. This to me looks similar to burn in but I’m shore this is not an OLED.

                - I did the classic unplug and hold power button to discharge the caps but it didn't help.
                - I did a factory reset as well...
