Whestinghouse LTV-32w6hd has sound but no picture

This one is out of my knowledge base. The backlight comes on and stays on and I get the blus screen with all OSD Functions except it wont auto scan for channels. Sound works, All the voltage regulators are clearly marked on the logic board and all voltages are @ spec per regulator. I only found 3 of them unless there is more on the back side of the board. I also measured the voltage going to the t CON board and its @ 5.01 volts. HELP Please!

Hi does it work with other inputs PC/ Scart/ HDMI.
Is there some discoloration on the top of the tuner box or is it just an unlucky coincidence that the flash or light is bouncing on there making it
    look so

None of the inputs will post any video to the panel. That discoloration on the tuner is the light for the ccd sensor on my camera

        Two things to try

Did you go into the source settings with the remote to change the source
on the OSM when you tried the DVD for instance.
If the main source is set on something you did not try it may not recognise it?

Can you check that the child lock for all inputs is set to off.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
            by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

            by TR103
            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
            - sound and backlight, but no picture
            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
            - it keeps rebooting
            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

[SOLVED] M1 MacBook Pro clicking sound logic board 5V no power on A2338 820-02020
            by slimmy182
Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
            by Ierwin
            Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...
