Check t-con cable it was bad on mine
sound no video
white flat cable
bad on 1 pin on t-con side of card
scrubbed all pins with brush and alcohol 91%
re tin the pin with solder
check end end with ohm meter - 1 ohm
bad pin was burned and read 6 + plus ohms
fiixed mine--
this after check main board to make sure working right- mine had bad regulator-
fixed - and the had sound and back light - no video
trick above fixxed video

Hi all,
Pick nice new sharp TV - like try fix
Sharp LC-32SB24U- SHUTS DOWN on start up-
Green blinking lights- two power , one opc -( something like that )
If i use the protection override - tv start - works plays fine-
I can turn off and on once.
- Second time goes back into protection.
with back off -
all bulbs seem to be light and working
Have all 3, 5 12 volts on rail -
pictures coming in next day

Well bought a new main board - LOL-
Now i have sound , back light . No picture or menu- problem now
Going try to hook up to different video source-
Just got my Toshiba going - so happy for that- offer to buy a dead Sony

Just put strw6765 - set works fired right up - old was was cook to heat sink
rip some pads off PB bottom.
Recommend anyone - new like me unsolder pads before trying to free regulator-
Also note
No more click click click - just two solid click-=when plug in - also had 3.3 on protect line

Q880 is strw6765 goes bad on those power supplies --turns on 12v to 12volt relay sr81 on power board pe0071g-1 if same -power SUPPLY board -this real common COST 5-12 DOLLARS + SHIP
COMMON FIX FOR DEAD/ AND BLINK LIGHT- will see if fixes mine -part will be here tomorrow.

Got supply working maybe
i have 5 volts and 3 volts on power supply
the front led lights blue
main board has 5 volt - near power white connector- but dose not go any where to a cap and is no traceable after that.
In 3 volt at bottom - near the power button connect
i can not get the power supply to switch on for 12v on 24 volts
any help would be great

well , while testing the power supply died yesterday. no low voltages any where

i only have high voltage power to rectifier then first of to ( two) - p20nm50fp Mosfet
i looked spec/ data sheet} up .They *seem to test okay * - but seem like second of p20nm50fpis in series is not getting power - both test same out of circuit. This feed to the primary transformer.
all diodes and resistor test - good

Comes on , lite back lights, icon goes blue then shutdown in 30 seconds , looses 3.3v on main board, no picture , no video .
With the invert unplugged and t-con unplugged Comes on , lite back lights, icon goes blue then shutdown in 30 seconds , looses 3.3v on main board, no picture , no video .
It points to main board.
It loosing 3.3v start volts and come when set is restarted.
power supply has all volts okay have 12volts 5 volts and 24-
any have any details about main board problems... -

u33 5.0v in 3.30 out all amc1117- the ones that go bad
u2 5.0v in 3.30 out
u4 5.0v in 3.30 out

u10 has 5.0v in 2.50 v out (U15 regulator is 1084 0740AL) also AP1084KLA

sorry all check to be 3.30 v- ( not 3.20 v or 3.2 ) - typing issue on my part - but 1 see what is mean [B]retiredcaps[/B] by regulators have a 1% tolerance

Turns on with backlight, no video or sound.Vizio Icon goes orange to white. Will not turn off by power button , no menu's , but stay's on -till is unplugged.

has 12volts , 5 v,
1.7 v on Pin 1-black wire -thought should be 3.3v on PS ?????

no manual available there found vx37l -but main board not same -similar- looks like drops few amc117 - u33 chips - but
i fully look at hole manual yet .- finished looking no manual - there
so still looking -
I unhook the cable on main board that went to t-con card- cycled input with -tuner/cable tv- hooked up -
result : no sound
