IPOS 150 REV 3.3 Board help

OK, I had posted quite a few questions and pics here about repairing of a 32" Polaroid HDTV. Plugged in, all I get is a blinking light on the front lower right of front of TV, (no light lit on the P/S board, never got a definite response of what that means. Anyway, the power supply IPOS 150, REV 3.3, only has stand-by 5vdc after I did the multi cap job. I had no outputs off CON3 before cap job, so it helped something. Is there someone HERE who offers repair service at a quotable price. I have seen some ebay auctions that offer a kit of D10 and a 'wire' repair that says it will repair remainder of voltages that are missing, but it is a ridiculous price especially since D10 checks OK, and for me just another shot in the dark. I even see one auction for just a 'wire', now what's that all about? I'm so close to a trip to the garbage dump, and if the set didn't appear like brand new it would already be there. At the end of my 'wire'...

    Thanks,

    John

Most technicians charge a lot for their time, because work is sparse and tools and knowledge are expensive. You have to be patient with people here; we all have jobs (or in my case, college) in the real world and we just help out when and if I can. I'm -not- a qualified technician (and there are probably only a few here, but I would be guessing only), I'm studying Electronics Engineering and I've repaired a lot of stuff, but that's it really.

If you are about to give up on it, put it up on Craigslist for $50. Or stick it in your front yard with "FREE - BROKEN" on it... usually gets rid of it in about 1 hour .
Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Hi just before you throw it I have stumbled across this
      http://www.tv.quuq.org/forum/index.php?topic=2752.0

He seemed to have sound with his flashing light but if you read down
he allegedly located a dud fuse which brought it back to life.
      Got to be worth checking.

Really all I was asking was is there someone here who can do a quotable repair on this board or if anyone knows of anyone who provides this service at flat rate.

It might help if you were to update your profile with at least your country.
There are members all over - This week I have been in touch with people in Sweden Australia UK US Albania Brazil Isreal at least one of those has an electronic business.
Id suggest however that most are not in business.
