LG mu50pm10 with a yellow block on the screen

I have an LG mu50pm10 tv just replaced the y-sus and the z-sus and I have a yellow block on my screen. Any ideas? did i buy a bad board maybe or could it be something else?

Any help would be great. Thank you

A photo of the problem would make it much easier for us.

i will try to get a picture as soon as possible. The box is 10x6 inches and floats around the screen similar to the input box or no signal box.

Can you bring up a menu on it?

Re: LG mu50pm10 with a yellow block on the screen

              What was the original problem?

Blocks can be related to the x drive. Normally it results in a dark square. What you have I have never seen before.

I would retrace your connections. That looks more like "human error" and not board failure.

The initial problem was the pop then out was the screen. I had replaced the Z a while back and replaced the Y this time. I redid all connections and now the screen is just black. Any guidance from there?

I'm going to post the first question again - from post #6.

Can you bring up a menu on it?
Does this happen with no input video?
Did you check the tab bonds / ribbon cables?
