      Hello Community!

      CASE DETAILS

Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change

      Finlux LED backlight not working
      by stoian_93
      Hello guys!
My Finlux TV backlight stopped working. I disassembled the TV, saw I don't have the tools to replace the backlight and assembled it again without replacing anything. So then the backlight started working again.
A day after it is also not working.
I decided now to remove the back cover and get the output voltage to the backlight. I placed the TV facedown and connected to the mains, so - nothing. I disconected, removed the cover and connected again to the mains and then the backlight lighted again. So strange.
Output voltage when light is 66V.

this tv is throwing me for a loop. do samsung tvs no longer have the backlight self test feature built into the power supply?
i tested the backlight with my LED tester and it lights up both strips. one of them reads 100v and the other reads 63.7v.
unplugged mainboard from power supply but left backlight plugged in, and then plugged psu wall power in. expected to see backlights light up but see nothing.
according to how ive diagnosed in the past, this would almost always be a bad power supply. replacement power supply was cheap like 20$ from ebay. but still i get not even...

TCL 65s425 sound/video working, no backlight
      by knoxrebel
Tv shows no issues other than no backlight. Picture was visible with flashlight and menu navigation possible with audible responses.

Polyester film Capacitor c620 27nf (on power supply board had visible brown discoloration, but is not shorted. Replaced with suitable spare and now working properly. (Apparently this is a known issue with this series.)

Backlights tested independently with tester and registered ~140vs on each.

MacBook Air A1932 Keyboard backlight not working
      by PITERPENY
After updating the system to Sonoma, the keyboard backlight does not turn on! Preinstallation through recovery did not change the situation. Resetting smc and pram did not help! restore via dfu is also zero! I put the board in another Mac and it turns on the light! I put a board from another Mac into this one and the backlight works too! Only the original board does not turn on the backlight! Can anyone please advise, I beg you!
