Sony kd70xf8305 very very slow android logo with sound

    Hi.
    Power is ok
Tv turns on by it self when you turn IT off with button or pług.it shows sony logo the android logo but with like 1 frame every 10 sec. Music starts after like 1 min. After some time logo will Just hang. But i can turn volume up and down on a pilote but its very slow as well.

Should i force update? If so how?

    I did reset.

    Mainboard Looks pristine.

    Very wierd.

Have a multimeter? Check voltages coming from PSU to main board. Show some pictures of boards and connection from PSU to main. Let us know voltages of each pin going from PSU to main and hold them there for 20-30 seconds to see if there is any variation. Report back

Have you tried updating the firmware? I would start there first

this is the sickness in Android when NAND close to dead.. reset by press the joystick and push it down... plug the TV in wall release the joystick only when the front LED change from white to green color

Left the dongle in with update and belive it did Flash and that was kinda fast too considering 1.8gig

Hard reset also same - that was the first thing.

Will check psu after holiday. But I Putin the mobo on a reballing machinę and Just kept it around 80 deg Just to prep for reball of the cpu.

Decided to try 1 more boot after that and animation was fast but it was stoping every few secs. It booted then hang. And kept hanging after that. I put the mobo in still kinda hot.

Tooday we tried alittle bit more heat to not bend the mobo but still the fricking bga popęd out so had to reball. Im 100perc sure reball was ok. Nów its Just dead. Little heat on cpu . Voltages present 0.9 , 1 , 3.3 and 5v

          Thats all i Got nów.

Edit. When we got cpu out there was a few cold soter points.

                What we did :
                - Update wia usb (it took a long time to start but update operation was quick)

                - heated up board on a bga machine for some time to 70-80 deg C (this actually mad the animation fast nut still was stoping every 5 sec and eventualy freeze the tv)

                - reballed CPU (now tv not even starts (reball was 100% ok). Cpu heast up slightly.

                - Voltages present on main board: 0.9v - 1v - 3.3v - 5v

                Is that better?

The extreme heat completely killed the eMMC.

This will no longer help, you need to look for the same motherboard from donors.

Nope. Ram reball didn't help. But no less kinda made me feel I will not.

Thx guys. Will try some more . But will replace board probably.

A common fault with these models, swapping the emmc will not help either. The problem is the IC between the processor and the scaler underneath the black coolingblock, it dies slowly after a few years. I have seen several with this problem and all with the same problem.

Reading your past post, if reflowing the cpu at beginning the cpu "popped", thus popcorn effect the chip is no longer usable, sorry

                                        HI guys

I got here a Sony 65X950G - I tried to find any repairs guides for this model but not many online

                                        here is the issue
I have Sony and android logo. but then 4 led red flash lights front of the tv

I have 3.3v ref. 12v reg then T con 12v when I press the power on button
but then I get black screen and 4 red flash light at the front LED
but I get 3 led flash on the LED driver board.

I check that few X900F or C YouTube repairs, seems that if you have 4 led red flash it could be due of LED black light error
                                        so I tried...

so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!! what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...

I'm currently working on repairing a malfunctioning Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 with the mainboard 1-981-926-21. I would appreciate your assistance with this issue.

Upon powering on the TV, the Sony logo appears for approximately 3 seconds, after which the backlight remains lit, the screen remains black, and nothing else happens. The TV consumes around 55W initially and then drops to 35W. The indicator LED remains solid white. It doesn't respond to the remote control. When attempting to update the TV using a USB dongle, the dongle briefly flashes but nothing else happens.

Hi guys i have my personal MacBook Pro 2015 820-00165 board that was working fine for more than a year and one day stopped working on my original Magsafe charger. It was turning on with my bench power supply. Opened it up and while diagnosing that somehow i ended up with a shorted smc.The line which was shorted was SMC_PM_G2_EN. I removed the SMC and short was gone. So all I had was another working donor board 820-3435 which i used to program it's SMC to 820-00165 using the SMCTOOL By MuertoGB.Took that SMC and use it on my 820-00165 board .And my board started working again. Hi everyone,

I'm troubleshooting a power supply issue with a Sony SLV-E780 VCR. The device clicks repeatedly but doesn't power up completely. I've already replaced five capacitors, but the problem persists.

Here's a video link https://photos.app.goo.gl/3Xki6yvCLn67gLX78 showcasing the sound. Based on your experience, could this be due to a transformer, diode, or another component? Any guidance on what to test or replace next would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!
