Horizontal black lines on screen - please for your help

    Hello Everyone

I need your help to repair my poor Samsung TV which decided not to let me watch my favorites series in the afternoon. Suddenly black horizontal lines appeared on the screen making my life a hell

I have seen many youtube videos with guys who put a tape in ribbon cable and TV fixed in a magic way (I have tried without success).

    My TV model is: LE46C750R2W

I have tried to disconnect one ribbon cable at a time to see what happens on the screen. unfortunately didn't happened what always happened on movies where everything is fixed in a real magic way and everyone is happy running laughing through green meadows. I saw half black and half white (but with lines) screen instead of half good pictured view.

And I am wondering now. Am I a completely idiot looser who must be disappeared from earth face or there is a hope to help me one of this Team member ?
Is T-com board for garbage or I need to put simple a tape in the correct pins on ribbon cable ?

    Update:

I have tried to disconnect once again the ribbon cables, one at a time to see what happens on the screen.
When i disconnected the right ribbon cable I saw on the right half of the screen the content with horizontal lines. The left half was white.

When I disconnected the left ribbon cable I saw the right half of the screen just white and the left half black.

Re: Horizontal black lines on screen - please for your help

I had the same issue on a Samsung UE55JU6850 a few weeks ago.
I had changed the TCON and no improvement.
I also tried the trick with the tape (picture got a little better but not good again). Then I accidentally noticed that a COF has become hot (measured with the thermal imaging camera about 50 ° C). I disposed of the panel and sold the individual parts.

Check whether one of the COFs might also get hot in your case. In my case, it was one at the bottom of the panel.

Try to mask these contacts on the non-working side.

Re: Horizontal black lines on screen - please for your help

                        Hi Lotas,

I tried to mask these contacts you suggested me but with no results. Once I covered these contacts TV returned me black screen.
I tried to cover some other pins 6 by 6 without success.
Maybe I am wrong but I think that that the problem is caused by something else since once I unplug one by one the ribbon cable I dont take half clear picture. I take half picture with lines in one case and half picture black (& white) in the other.

Re: Horizontal black lines on screen - please for your help

Finally I found the problem. I checked the main board and many of transistors are fail.
I noticed something like evaporated liquid at the bottom of the doard. At first i cleaned up with isopropyl alcohol but nothing changed. After that I started to measure transistors and found that many of them gave power front and reverse.
Unfortunayely I cannot find one board in reasonable price. If you have an idea where I can find one (BN94-03388B) in good price you are welcome.

Anyway, thank you all for your support.

Here is a picture of it befor I cleaned it up
