Sony XBR65X900H TV with Horizontal Lines right half of screen

I have a Sony Smart TV XBR65X900H that started to have horizontal lines on the right side of the screen (see attached picture). When I played video on Youtube green horizontal line at regular intervals(1/4") across the screen.
I replaced the T-Con board but the lines are still there.
I believe this issue is from the Main Board. Before I replace the Main board, I wanted to seek advise if this is the problem from the Main board or something else?
    Thank you for the help.

Not main board. Tcon or panel. Check all connections on panel on the side the proble is and slightly push on the buffers while running see if it makes a difference. The buffers on the side of the panel.

If you replaced Tcon it's a panel issue but likely fixable. Take a little piece of copy paper or kapton tape and stick it in the large ribbon connector of the Tcon on the affected side. Walk it around until it starts clearing up then trim.

      A working TV? How boring!

Are these static or moving around?
I had something similar with RCA TV except it was random dots and the bars on right side which were jumping around and sometimes going away.
        It was main board problem.
When it's a panel, the lines are usually fading gradually in horizontal direction. This is because they are driven in parallel from both left/right side.

I've tried the tape method without getting rid of the line. these lines look like they are generated by the main board. The reason I suspect the main board is when playing Youtube in 4K, I get the green horizontal lines across all over the the screen but if I used Smart Tube to play the same video in 1080P there is no horizontal green lines. I believe this is something with the graphic processor on the main board.

Alfatv - the lines are static and they are permanently in place. they are similar to a burn in problem.

The fault is not panel, post some other photos, other type of image on screen, most probably main board, processor soldering, or maybe tcon output ribbon cable/connectors

simple things first, did you try a couple different hdmi cables? do you have any other 4k content to try or does it only mess up on youtube?

OK. got it fixed by replacing new main board and update to new firmware.
Thank you all for the help.

Sony XBR-85X950G Gray horizontal lines and vertical picture shift diagnosis?
                    by noisykid
5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. We did hook up a new Nintendo Switch to our HDMI switching receiver today, and played for a while with no issues, but this problem didn't occur til a few hours later while...

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
                    by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

                    by Raulnn
good morning! I have a problem with this Sony. The image has a pattern of black horizontal lines, I attach a photo of the lines. The power supply is external and emits a sound. I don't think it's because of that. Let's see if someone can help me.

SONY BRAVIA XBR-55A8H - White horizontal lines / red LED flashes four times
                    by thstuff
This "free from a friend who was going to recycle it" SONY BRAVIA XBR-55A8H arrived with the bottom center RED LED repeating a four flash pattern. It was treated with kid gloves and was reported to have "just gone dead" and the OLED panel has no dents in the metal frame or cracks.

Thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1091829 helped in proceeding as follows:
                    1) Unplugged, then plugged set in while holding the remote VOL- and Power to factory reset.

                    2) Waited 30 seconds, then pressed remote Power button and "Select language"...

LCD Tv starts to display black horizontal lines after half an hour of use
                    by Gjackson
Hi, I have a sort of old Grundig LCD Led TV that starts to display black horizontal lines after some use. After it's been turned off for a while and cold it does not display any artifacts however after some use it starts to display some faint horizontal lines at the top of the screen and a bunch in the middle of the screen. The longer the tv is on the worse they get until they become very clearly visible. I suspect that heat has something to do with this as when the lines start to appear i notice that the tv's metal case has gotten warm. Could the T-CON start to malfunction when it starts to get...
