    Re: EAY36781302 PSU Partial power

I only found 4 diodes that i think are the last ones on the board D208 & ZD240 i believe are zener diodes and i would assume ZD100 is shorted?

    ZD100 -0.001 V REV bias SAME
    ZD500 .712V REV bias NONE
    D208 .568V REV bias .639V
    ZD240 .695V REV bias 1.755V

    #5 SD20N60 is shorted
    #12 FCH10A20 diode
    #13 FCH10A20 diode
    #14 FCU20UC30 diode
#12-#14 seem to be working right they all measure the same.
#15 FQP F27P06 Transistor - that i am not quite sure how to test
#16 FCH20A20 high frequency rectification - not quite sure how to test

Other than those listed i believe the others to be working i included the schematics of those items i don't know how to test. as far as safety load i don't have time to get to the store right now but i know building it will be super simple

That is for powering inverters, right?

Those are high voltage cables between the HV output connectors of the inverter to the lamps. I see bunch of bad caps on the board also. I had those cables but I did not keep them. You may want to check your local electronics recycler. If I remember correctly, they are the same size as used in the LCD monitors.

Thanks a lot for your recommandation!
it is difficult here in France to find reference of this part
do you know the name? it will be very easy to find ther

ZD100 is in parallel with a .33ohm. So it will show shorted.

I have no idea what the function is.

However this diode is broken on my board. I need to know the zener value.

                      Can someone help me out?

I have changed most of the power components on the board. Including the big caps which were bad.

                      Q103 runs hot.(replaced)
                      T201 runs hot.
D204 was shorted and has been replaced.

Tv worked fine after this and ac power draw is only 1.5 amps.

With Q103 and T201 overheating, tv shut down in 5 minutes.

Can you read what is on the diode?

The resistor that has the Zener connected in parallel, is that resistor connected to the Source pin of the MOSFET? If it is, it is there to clamp down the spike voltage on the resistor so it will not damage the input circuit of the SMPS IC Current sensing pin.

                            No it's actually broken.

Yes it's parallel to the .33 ohm source resistor.

Static voltage will be under a volt, so I didn't see the need for it being a zener.

Possibly the ac component needs clamping at some level. I have a 6.2 in there now.

Tv works but the MOSFET overheats. As does the transformer.

I'm at a loss how to check further without service information.
I'm not even sure a new ps board will fix it. As it may be overloaded downstream.
