    X-Power PSU

Well, after getting yet another PSU for my PC - the Mercury one failed , I got the X-Power ATX-400TD because it was on promotion.

Before installing it, I peeked through the slots and saw that it was packed with TEAPO caps on both the input and output. Also, after powering it up, the two fans seem to be running quite slowly - but the box says it's designed to be a quiet PSU, probably two fans running slowly rather than one running fast.

I wonder how long it'll be before this fails? Can we trust the TEAPO caps? Then again, my 'High Power' PSU in the other PC is packed with TEAPO as well, and is still going strong after many years!
You know there's something wrong when you open your PC and it has vented Rubycons...

Teapo is good compared to crap usually found in cheap PSUs.

Most Enhance power supplies use all Teapo, even the bulk cap. They do not have a high warrenty claim.
All the Silverstone Element series are built by Enhance using Teapo and they seem to be doing well, in review and use.
The PCP&C Turbo Cooled built by Win-Tact use Teapo. I've seen two posted in the last year at AnandTech that had vented Teapo caps but they are a very crowded platform, with little space for free air flow. I have no idea how the owners had ventilated thier cases or how highly the units were loaded. Both were young gammers ...so who knows.
Teapo does seem to do well in properly cooled PSUs.

NOTE: The 510s referred to above might have had down-rated fans installed by PCP&C because the early units did have 80mm @ 54cfm and there were noise complaints.

I'm no expert but would not worry about Teapo caps in a PSU.

I have had several FSP units with Teapo, none of them has failed on me yet. Any way, if i have time and caps, i replace any mediocre cap with Panasonic FM`s.
